This show is fairly typical of how English is taught in Taiwan. It's an an offshoot of A+ English magazine, which I used to write and edit for. If you had an inkling of the lunancy behind the scenes, you would feel nothing but pity for these two hosts. If you got to know them, you wouldn't want to punch them in the head. Rather, you should reserve your head punches for the illiterate Taiwanese editors who force this crap on the gullible public.
This is like THE most popular English teaching TV show in Taiwan. It's JUST sad that parents in Taiwan spend enormous amount of money for their kids to learn these kind of lame, monotone, and JUST plain gay (pee wee) English, which none of American or British talked in that way in REAL life!!
