Ths is going to be my first 1911 purchase. Those grips are ugly though...

I know STI is a great handgun maker and a good company as well. But with this STI Spartan i'm not sure how realiable this is beacause some of it's parts the barrel, slide and frame are made by ARMSCOR Philippines. Spartan got a thin barrel compared to their other guns. Are those materials came from their mainland Texas too?

I know STI is a great handgun maker and a good company as well. But when it comes to this STI Spartan im not sure how reliable it is because some of it's parts are not made from their handgun making mainland Georgetown, Texas but from ARMSCOR Philippines.

Thanks for this video.
The spartan seems to be very good gun for very reasonable price. Perhaps I will buy one soon.
