Seriously? You've never heard the Silent Running connection? It's kinda been "right out there" all along. Even if you haven't seen the original movie it's been cited in their books, etc.

Finally .... a show that pronounces Trace's last name correctly. I have the same last name and was surprised he said it correctly for once.
Cool interview .... I am digging the Cinematic Titanic stuff. MST3K was the greatest show on TV for me.

So why does Trace even bother showing up for these things? I love what he does on the shows but it seems unless he's got a script or is directly asked a question, he barely contributes.

I had more or less the same experience when meeting Trace at Comic-Con last year. All he wanted to know was what name to autograph. (final product consisted of : "Tom - Trace") Don't wanna bad-mouth the guy too much, as he's given me countless hours of entertainment over the years, but he definitely goes in the "not that great to meet in person" category.

I've seen/heard far worse. Interviewers that have no interest/knowledge of their subject... this guys not bad at all.
