Dee Vasquez's mini side-story just at the end of the case twisted my entire opinion on her. It's probably the saddest moment in the series for me, besides the bad ending in JFA.

Although it was self defense, she didn't call the police or anyone right away, she destroyed evidence, moved the body, and tried to pin the murder on someone else. Not to mention she tried to kill Wright and Maya. Well techniqually she tried to kill them.

If you remember, Vasquez tells Phoenix that she wouldn't have put a weight on Hammer just for an accident, that the murder was indeed on purpose. I guess the double duty of both the cover up for his premeditated murder + the fact that Vasquez used him for 5 years made him want to kill her so bad.

@suhashs Actually, no. The real reason Hammer went to kill Vasquez was because he was tired of Vasquez blackmailing him. Vasquez wanted to believe it was purposeful, and not an accident. They were shooting a scene, and Hammer accidentally pushed Manuel to his death.
