@SpAnKYnation44 Thank you very much! Its just stock ibanez pickups, v8 being in the bridge. I might get something with more power, but these stock pups provide very nice clarity, which is always nice.

@Testamented91 Don't get new pickups. It wouldn't be worth it. I can't believe the sound those stock Ibanez pickups get. I can hear the clarity you describe, and it is beautiful. The POD farm sure dresses up the raw sound a lot, but the base tone and clarity start with the pickups, which you probably already know. I think these pickups are fucking awesome. I love this song. It's awesome and you do it great justice.

@SpAnKYnation44 Its not just the sound itself, but the power and the response. I heard from many people that went to D sonic in the bridge and said they never looked back. D sonic is also known for its clarity, and thats what I want, plus it has extra power and clarity on the low end which is always good. @GypsyHateCrew One track is mesa recto simulation, and the other is 5150 sim, they are both abut 80% left and right, so you can hear them separately by changing the balance...

@Tangakkai Well POD farm was on, with only tube screamer, compressor and parametric EQ, comp gave it a boost in gain, and EQ had cuts on low and highs, sounds cleaner that way. Monitoring was off, then goes the reaper, two tracks, one with 7170 amp simulation, the other with LeCto simulation, both using 1 on press8 impulse through kefir. Make sure to keep the bass low on those settings, and turn the mids a bit up, but not too high.

However, this impulses sound very nice. You wont do it wrong saving the money for the 7 string.
