I do not wish to enter into a "Dogma Debate" between us Christians. It is well that we both recognize Jesus as our Savior. To me, your Kind-of-Music is salvific. God bless.
Thank you. The Lord be with you and with your family also. Provided we keep JESUS at the center of our lives: all will be well. His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting.
Biblically, God's People were nourished by God in the desert with "Manna from Heaven". As a Catholic believing that the Holy Eucharist is the Body & Blood of Jesus, the practice of "Communion" is likened to having Jesus - and thus the process of Conversion towards Becoming-like-Jesus starts here & now . In this context, your Communion Song "How Long ..." (a Wailing-of-Expectancy) should end with a Prayer-of-Thanks. "Salvation-thru-Jesus" is one thing "Sanctification-in-Heaven" is another.
I do not accept the Roman catholic version of the Communion/Passover. WE DO THIS IN REMEMBERANCE of His sacrifice for us. ... we do not "obtain grace" by the ritual itself. I would recommend you watch THE HEART OF THE GOSPEL in the video on Isaiah 53. - CHRIST, our Provision, is BOTH our salvation AND our sanctification. - and sanctification is not a ritual but A VERY REAL PROCESS of the grace and working of the Holy Spirit within and without. Thank you for your comment.
Enter into worship at around 58 seconds into the Communion Service, ... you will be blest. Join me in prayer: HOW LONG, O LORD?! ... HOW LONG before we awake in Your likeness...?
