"My microphone is named 'Lucille'"--Get 'em X.Brand Nubian was the gold standard of hip hop at this time, underground or otherwise.New Jacks just don't know.
This was only on the cd version, I think. I didn;t like it at all. But whatever, they were on Elecktra so they needed a couple of radio joints. This and 'try to do me' were obviously label creations.
Still one of the top 15 HipHop albums of all time.
What's ill about this video is the era. It was all about a good time. Grand Puba was about the skins as he would later let everyone know. Check Masters of Ceremony...The girls dancing made this a must see video also. It was still an era of hip hop that was about the females and how good they did look before the Gangsta/Gangsta bitch era. As for the song itself... GODS had graceful flow period. I was wilder about the B-side "Brand Nubian" I copped the cassette just for that song. FAR FROM CORNY!
Oh snap ! Bringin back memorys of when i used to pump the ghettoblaster wid da classics like Brand Nubian, Brotherhood Creed, Kid n Play, Third Bass, Digital Underground, Candyman, YoYo, The Boys, Heavy D, Young MC, Monie Love, BBD
how on earth is this a wack shit? do you realy go by your username or what. Oh guess you're the 50 cent and Obie trice type. This is an absolute classic!!!!!!!!!!

this dude realhiphopsucks is an idiot. everytime i watch some old school hip hop for some new underground shit i see that this bitch has made his lil gay ass comments. but how does he know about all this good music. i think its some kid thats loves the music and is just being a bitch because most people that dont like real hip hop dont know any of the artists and are stuck on the commercial shit.
realhiphopsucks dont front i know your feelin this jam

I can think of two reasons why this and "Brand Nubian" were CD-only bonus tracks. One reason could be that they were older songs. The 12" single for both songs was released in 1989 (under the name Brand Nubians), a year before the 'One For All' album came out. The lead single for the album was "Wake Up."
You hit the nail right on the head on that one. Brand Nubian also knew how to have fun in their raps as well teach a message. Elektra threw "feels So Good" & "Brand Nubian" on there to complete the CD.
Elektra released other albums with older songs as bonus tracks as well. "The Creator (Remix)" and "Mecca And The Soul Brother (Remix)" were LP and cassette bonus tracks for Pete Rock & CL Smooth's 'Mecca And The Soul Brother.' "Gasface Refill" was a CD bonus track for KMD's 'Mr. Hood.'
The other reason may have been that Elektra used bonus tracks as an incentive to buy the CD. CDs were a newer format and were costly ($17-18 retail) compared to LPs and cassettes. The Pete Rock album is an exception because the CD's running time was over 77 minutes so it couldn't hold any more tracks.
Select records also did this with two Chubb Rock albums as well. And The Winner Is... & I Gotta Get Mine Yo! both had between 18 t0 21 tracks on them.
shit is hot this was a treat at the end of the cd tape didnt have this on it.!!!!
