simplesmente sensacional!!! Como queria ter condições de criar papagaios e ter tempo de ensina-los a voar livremente, mas sem perder o contato comigo.
You are amazing! So wait, they don't just fly away? What makes them come back? I mean you're obviously an amazing owner i just didn't know that parrots would really come back like that!
Where are you located? It was wonderful to see them flying. I have a couple of amazons who go outside but they don't fly much, they just hang our in the yard near the house. . . . Great to see them really flying high and far.
OMG !
KIDS please DO NOT try this at home with your pet bird. Most places have predators that would love to eat your bird for lunch, plus, these birds are trained. If I did this with my bird, he would probably panic and get lost, or worse.
That is just fantastic! Amazing to me that they fly around for so long and so far and come right back! I must learn this secret.... hehehe. Thanks for the great vid!

Wow! That was scary. I thought this was going to be a sad video were the birds got lost. When they came back....AMAZING. It must be so beautiful to have birds like that. I just brought home an Congo African Grey. The pet shop insisted I clip its wings but I refused. Glad we didn't. He flies around the house.
@isasamp this is beautiful. I have a blue front, but could never let him fly free with hawks etc in my area, plus he has been a caged bird his whole life - He'd give himself a heart attack exerting this much energy.
Over time I have become less approving of keeping birds in cages, I think it is sad, unless you can give them lots of time and attention outside of the cage, which many owners don't have time for.

As I wrote in your blog, some older amazons (18 months-2 years) began sucessflully free flying in our group. Has your bird fledged when he was a baby? Has he been clipped?
i LOVE your calls! it's obvious they relate to you so well. it sounds as if all of you are bi-lingual (birdie-human) LOL
what is so cool is they are happy to keep up the calls so you can keep in touch -- exactly the way they would keep in touch with each-other in the wild.
Seus videos são super repetidas vezes! Porque você exercita o vôo livre com seus pássaros, é maravilhoso. Eu deixo meus voar também livremente, mas um não pode comparar aquele.
OMG, that is darling! You and them talking and screaming together and such a big pretty flight and return. You do a good job running the camera and managing the parrots at the same time. Very happy parrots, very nice, very free.
Parrots are born to fly!
I wish my 3 could do this too.

Just amazing, I would love to try it with my new babies that will be hatching but we have too many bald eagles here for them to be safe.

You must begin with a baby parrot and not with an adult. Go to freeflight list of yahoo and ask your questions. They will help you.

Thanks! They trained me to use their calls. We have a common repertoire. I'm a handicapped member of the flock, I cannot fly...
