At its inception, they promised to provide a different perspective, which if you think other media is liberal, means they present the opposite. What troubles me isn't that they're conservative, but that they can play loose with the facts, esp. on commentary. They claim that talk media doesn't have the same standards as hard news, but as a news outlet, they have an obligation to the truth.

OK wait, a couplke things I don't understand. (To be honest, I stopped watching at about 8 minutes). Is Beck saying the CFR controls the media for the government? I did a quick check and don't really understand the allegation. If so, how do they control the entire media (sorry if this was explained, I didn't really follow). Second, what is the nature of the bias? Is it the stories they chose to report, or the actual mis represnting of facts, or simply (not to understate it) things like the obit?

The nature of the bias is everything is turned against Republicans, against Conservatives, against Christianity, against age-old American values, etc. I'd advise you subscribe to an email service from the Media Research Center. They send out emails every few days showing clear examples of Leftist news/media bias.

@yukyukyuk69, 1.a wage that allows you to, at the very least exist decently.2.we have a moral and civic obligation to the greater whole,not just me.. 3.same as 2. 4. it isn't.and a great many producers reward mediocrity daily,weekly,monthly and yearly, and yet those producers get GREAT REWARD for it.

@yUKYUKYUK69, at least 10.00 an hour. then tell businesses not to outsource their jobs,to pay their fair share of taxes, to pay workers a fair wage and benefits. when money is payed in taxes it's still called a societial compact.don't like it,then strike and negotiate with management and stockholders to get what you want

@eugeneonegin09 Ok, so the employer's competitors pay $10.00/DAY and no benefits, no insurance and have lower taxes because they have no roads.
So, where are all these workers going to get $10.00/hour for sweeping floors and washing dishes when their employers are out of business? Where are the taxes for cops, roads, firefighters etc going to come when everyone is starving like in the Soviet Union and China before they collapsed because of the failure of socialism's central planning?

@yakyakyak69 Correction, China did not collapse, China abandoned Communism & embraced Capitalism. The more FREE people become & the less regulation the Chinese gov't piles on the sholders of the chinese capitalists, the higher standard of living all people of China can enjoy.
