I really hate that they are rebooting the franchise. All I have to say about The Amazing Spiderman is 2 things.

1: It better be a good movie.

2: It better have the same intro and intro music like the 3 movies but will be a different title.

@PuckettJp2 He is out of it after walking off the set due to the producers not letting him have the creative control he had wanted. I at first thought they should just continue the original series as it had already started the character and could use even more villains- but now I feel like it actually is better to have just let it be a trilogy and have someone else as the lead star in a new series. All I care is that they use villains who have not yet appeared because there are several others.

@PuckettJp2 I am glad someone else finally agrees with me on that. Most people are saying they hope to see a new version of the Green Goblin as well as a new version of Doc Ock. I feel like using either one of those guys again would just be a waste of time doing a repeat. However, I do think they should use Venom again because he did not really get a story and was very poorly done. I think they should do it where his origin is properly featured and he is actually the villain of the entire story.

Doc Ock: Well, he has drowned, but it doesnt mean hes not alive. I mean, he could've escaped with those arms and is somewhere now.

Green Goblin: as Skulls177 said, the Green Oz can also be used for healing. So maybe the Green Goblin will return.

Carnage: Carnage is just awesome. And I hope he will be played by Jim Carrey.

They're supposedly making a straight-up Venom movie with Carnage as the villain...

Anyway, as a big Spider-Man fan...they should stop making movies. Spider-Man 3 was alright, but clearly showed they'd lost sight of a lot of what made the first two movies so great. More sequels would likely suck if they keep up in that direction.

As long as the next movie is about Spiderman instead of Peter Parker's emotional problems, I'm in full support of this new title.
