The Eagles played during the Depression and WWII years, and won three championships in 1948, 1949, and 1960. Only team EVER to win back to back championships with SHUTOUT scores. They DID win it all, and if they gave out rings back then, they'd have 3! Eagles kicked ass in their day.

Not only do I find it funny that many Dallas fans are on here yappin on about the 5 Superbowls that their team won (the latest being in '95), but I find it even more funny that a lot of these same people weren't even old enough to experience Dallas winning in the early 90's. It makes you realize why many of them are Dallas fans in the first place. That's the difference between many Dallas and Philly fans; they chose their team (a team with 5 rings), we fell in love with ours. Lets go Birds!

@KobeCT91 You're going to find this surprising, but I hear and respect what you said! I'm a Cowboys fan, but I've followed them faithfully since 1975! That's 36 years. I've been through three eras of Cowboys, and watched 7 of the 8 Super Bowls they were in, only missing Super Bowl VI being too young.
You're right though, some younger Cowboy fans don't appreciate the history of the team or of the NFL for that matter. And there's lots of Dallas fans who are post-2000 fans only.

AND, another reason I respect what you said, is because I'm not just a Cowboys fan, I'm an NFL fan. I know the Eagles of the late 70's and early 80's as well as I know the Cowboys from that era. As much as I hated seeing them beat Dallas, I had alot of respect for the squad Dick Vermeil put together in 1976, taking them to the Super Bowl in 1980 against Oakland. It was the BEST ERA for the Cowboys vs. Eagles rivalry by far!! Vermeil and the Eagles were a class act in 76-81, awesome team.
