How do you get the Lead stages? I always get the Behind stages whenever I play this game.

@deadlywarrior12 I think you need to reach Segment 5 without using a continue, obtain the short mission mode and unlock Kagura (the 4th playable character). With that, you will be prompted to select between Behind/Lead for the first three segments. Good luck!

Oh. Very well. It's just that some of the Japanese words for "Kernel" also mean "Core".

(But I think that the instance that when the term "kernel" is used at the end of the second extra stage is a mistranslation, as "essence" would fit better there.)

I'll give you what I have translated so far when I have time.

Do you read all the text ingame and translate it, or do you get inside the raw data to find the text?

Because if you can get the raw data (and modify it) does this mean that there might be an English patch in the far future? =D

I kinda hoped every boss would release it's spirit kernel if you defeat it with high stella.

Guess having it for only one boss makes the surprise more awesome, though. You can also blow up the stage 5's boss main body (or head?) to release it's spirit kernel early, and get lots of gems and two awesome patterns (time out the first for the second).

Also: WHY DOES NO ONE TRANSLATE THIS SHIT.

By the way, "Spirit Kernel" is a mistranslation from the game's maker. The proper translation for the term is "Spirit Core".

Check out Doujinstyle. They have it there. Else you might want to try and request it on Paletweb or Himeyashop. It's a pretty obscure game but so damn good. Takes a while to get used to the extremely complicated interface but... it's worth.

Bigger stuff I guess. Till the last boss is twice, three or four times the size of the screen. And this game's default resolution is 1024x728 so imagining something double than that has the epic label written all over it.

I love these kind of games, they put back the "FUN" where the mainstream only knows to put cutscenes and more cutscenes and crap. Yeah, I'm mean I guess...

Speaking of the "SPIRIT KERNEL"... it won't the last time you see something like that. Be alert =P

damn, you are right. That's pretty interesting. Something similar to when the Kaname Stone shows up with that soft chanting. Jeez, I love this game.

@GloriousLight Speaking of ...speaking. Is there anything in particular to that haunting moan you hear in several places? (As well as in Segment 7 theme) My guess is that it's a modified version of the screem.wav from Radio Zonde. Im pretty sure that it's saying something (Sounds like "And I must scream" to me) but Im not sure.
