Not sure - I actually downloaded the video from someone else and then reuploaded when they took it down. I think it's Tokyo and looks pretty recent - between 10 and 3 years ago, I would guess.
He certainly received an awful lot of applause after each prelude. Isn't it customary to withhold applause until all three Gershwin preludes (typically performed together, as a set) are performed? Or perhaps Zimerman simply played the first prelude as an encore piece -- and then returned to play the second as another encore?
the beginning is really entertaining, i like zimermans way playing piano :-)
