@crazyaydrawa our first Shar-Pei was taught how to fight so he didn't get along with other dogs, but all of our other dogs have been great. Like most dogs, they are only mean if they are taught to be mean or mistreated. This dog, Toby, is not mean at all - he's almost too nice because he lets other dogs be mean to him. Shar-Pei are really loyal dogs and if you raise them correctly are really, really great!

NO DOGS ARE MEAN!!!! unless they are taught to be that way, in that case it is humans fault not the dogs. I will tell you this Shar peis are aggressive dogs but only when they need to be and never more than what needs to be.they are big old teddy bears and great with kids, but if a intruder steps into my house you better believe he will grab your ass! a dog will never hurt anyone unless they feel they are being threatened or there family is being threatened! people need to understand this!

We think about that but lately we have been doing positive reinforcement and it works well.
