  • over triggering problem on the kick

  • its so fast u cant even headbang

  • is it just me or are Daves triggers misfiring like a son of a bitch?

  • THis song was already really fast on the album at 250 bpm but they're excited live and playing faster at 260 so I don't blame him for not being able to play clean.

  • thats not drumming, thats tapping.

  • Saw them in hobart, they had a great bassy metal sound.

  • It's not easy doing those speeds. Who cares if he's sloppy

  • A little sloppy kick, but holy fuck they played it fast :p Ugly trigger sound too. But the rest was fucking killer.

  • @zakkah93 Sounds like a little of the sloppyness might have been mis-triggers. Either way, still a great live band all things considered.

  • The crowd isnt really getting into it that much... When i saw them a few days ago. There was a full on mosh pit and everyone was headbanging like fuckin crazy

  • the tone and left hand precision is ca-razy!

  • wonder if dave does his blast beats with one foot? not that he needs to - he's amazing enough already

  • @ExecuteCommand when i saw them live i had a good view of dave and he seemed to switch between one footed and two footed, was strange to see a drummer changing it up instead of sticking to one for a whole set

  • on crack i mean ... :D

  • hooooooooooooly shitness so amazing perfomance the drummer is no crack?:D

  • YEAH

  • sloppy kicks.. everything else is tight though. i wasn't a big fan of the production on observant..

  • yeah, I realized that when I filmed them. he was actually just sloppy in that part. I've seen Psycroptic numerous times and they are damn tight!

  • @analinfinity i agree, i've seen them and they were absolutely flawless

my guess is that the wear and tear of tour might've taken it's toll a little during this show

plus, I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but they appear to be playing this faster than the album version

so kudos to D Haley for even being able to do that

  • sloppy kicks my arse, listen to the shit he is playin dude, its insane speed

  • He IS playing at 260bpm. Derek Roddy considers him the best (ie tightest and most consistent) drummer in death metal, and that's saying a lot. Probably just a lack of warm up.

  • @yopeterman Might have something to do with the fact they're playing this at 15 beats a minute faster than on record, and it's already their fastest song. Dave Haley is about as machine like as you get in this genre.

  • @yopeterman I thought the production was okay. I REALLY dug the snare sound they got, but it was poorly mixed, that's for sure. Great band none the less, despite the sloppy kicks. Could have been mistriggers too.

  • geiles video einer geilen band, leider nerven die getriggerten drums total

  • Damn they killed it live. I wish I had the money to go to as many concerts as you do, have you ever seen Morbid Angel or Revolting live?

  • its all a matter of priorities ;)

yeah, I've seen Morbid Angel once. a few years past tho.
