Once years ago I was sitting in my car playing this tune and a stranger, a woman, came up to the window to tell me what a great tune it is. Valerie is such a great vocalist.
Ah yes, but who supports PEACE nowadays? Evrybodys runnin to hide behind their WMD arsenals! Too bad somebody had to get snobby, and make the really GOOD video of this song "Private". Guess some arent as much into "sharing the luv" as they claim to be?
Lucky you, able to watch them live. Actually they are not in my generation. I know this song bc of my trip to michigan to canada. It's a long drive so I almost hear all the songs of my friend's cd collection. I wonder where are they now? Making any good music?
This was so inspiring back in 1991, and is even more relevant today. AN ALL-TIME GREAT! Lovely as it would be to see Galliano reform, we should just thank them and the originals they tribute for their wonderful work (and GP for publishing it), and spread the word. Not everyone got it first time, apparently
heast hoastl, des stimmt scho. owa de hot glaub i nix mit dera numa zu tuan. maroon town hom von prince buster prince of peace a supa cava aufgnumma. da gibts a leiwande maxi und die version auf da lp is a supa.
If you miss Galliano why don't you try 2 Banks of 4, the new excellent project by Rob featuring Valerie. A step forward anything he's done before...trully original and fascinating
ehy guys..this is one of the best acid jazz groups ever..made me grow...gave me the right vibes...check out the song "jazz!" of the album "a joyful noise unto yhe creator"
Thanks for that, I had totally forgotten that tune which I used to play on repeat for a few years after it came out! Jaaaaaaaz - how I loooooove Jazz!

why underrated? When someone likes Acid Jazz, I am sure that this band is known to those people, but yes it is a small public that likes Acid jazz.
