I used to think that the Supertramp affair (Rick Davies playing Roger’s songs) was not of my concern. But now, after attending to 3 Roger Hodgson’s concerts and realizing he is still my favorite artist, after receiving so much from him, I started wondering if I could be of any help.
I used to thinking ST's message was about "giving a little bit". Now i realize that all along it was Roger's message only, it was never shared by the rest of the band, which is why Roger is the heart of ST, forever.
I am going to Quebec July 4th to see Roger. going to a roger concert is like coming home. i feel Roger sincerely cares about giving to his fans - his heart, his talent, his fine performance. When i leave i feel like i have received more then just a wonderful evening listening to a talented musician. I feel uplifted, nostalgic, younger.
When I hear Roger singing all of these hit songs it brings back such great memories for me of some awesome good times in my life. Thank you Roger for bringing them all back so fresh and new and still so full of nostalgic value at the same time. I always wished that Supertramp would reunite but hearing your voice singing these songs is all I need to grant my wish. School is one of my very favorite songs. When I heard the little clip of it it left me wanting to hear more.
I love this montage. It brings all of Roger's hits back to me in beautiful memories both yesterday and today. I saw Roger play in San Diego recently and I just absolutely loved seeing him live and loved hearing all the songs fresh and new without all the Supertramp band sound. They are such pure artistic inspiration and Roger is awesome with the audience. You feel like he is playing a private concert right in your living room. Love you Roger. Hope to hear you play again very soon.
I cannot get enough of Roger Hodgson's masterpieces. What a musical genius this man is. To have solely written and composed some of the greatest hits our our lifetime - Dreamer, Give a Little Bit, The Logical Song, Breakfast in America, Take the Long Way Home, School, Fool's Overture, and so very many more. I was so very fortunate to see him in concert last year. Stunning. I could have listened to hours more. Do yourself a favor and catch Roger's show. He is on tour right now.
