Compare Kubert's art during his last Marvel run with this here, and it's striking how much weaker his style has become. The splash pages are just cluttered, not visually stimulating at all. Maybe it was his inker?
i dont remember what he did with marvel before with this... he did ult xmen right? or was that his bro?... regardless. i think these pages look great. cluttered... maybe a bit, but the devil is in the details and the man draws em and for that i commend him. the page where spidey busts out the window... then you see a small tall panel of him swinging away then you see osborn crash out the window next to it from the same angle... that was brilliant comic storytelling.
LOL, skipped :P what did you say !?!?!? I have to admit, Not into the Atlas team but since I see them making a stop in T-Bolts, I instantly became interested.
I was saying to Blu, the last few issues of ASM art has made me think of JJ from Good Times and what his stuff would be like today, in comic form. So I enjoyed the art as well as stories in ASM this month.
I ranted about how the team is getting so interesting, with the double-crossing and the espionage, and now Parker's just going to drive them into a gratuitous Agents of Atlas crossover. This issue was okay, but the ending really ruined it for me because of how exceedingly predictable it is.
hhehe, on McBain. The only thing I read so far on your list is Thunderbolts. Writing this before I see your Thunderbolts review. I liked it, it's fun and the inner turmoil is getting better and better. I like the characters more in the last few issues then I did at the start of the new team and direction. Miss the old team, wonder where they are and Songbird is the reason I put Thunderbolts at the top of my Marvel list. So not 10/10 but still not a waste of time at all.
Thank you for the Victorian Undead review, I paused before picking this up, waiting to hear a bit more, and your words have 'un-sold' me on the book.
If you're looking for something a little different NOLA by Boom looks to be a good post-apocalyptic story.
Thank you for the best comic reviews every week you post!

I saw that Luke McBain comic, the cover looks like Luke Cage. Does it seem like this story could easily work as a Luke Cage comic?

In theory, sure. It could work as any "badass walks into town and fights bad guys" book.
