  • At 5:15 I was expecting that guy to say he would eat fruit over McDonalds but he said Subway!! WTF!? lol

  • proud to live in kansas, but they should get more supporters. like they should move to Topeka the capital or to whichita.

  • Ron Paul vs corporate shrills and has all the answers. Watch his videos and read his books and you will want to vote for him.

  • Losers. every single one of you. sad.

  • I watch this video & I see well intentioned people who don't understand economics. The 1st guys says they need to fund programs that help the poor...like what? like grants & student loans? Free health care? Since the gov't started offering easy tuition in 86-college has gone up 498% most everything else has gone up just 107% besides healthcare which has also gone up over 250%. Why? B/c once the gov't gets involved-costs rise. Assistance should return to only the VERY poor. Most wouldn't qualify.

  • Occupy's Goal: To destroy the BUSH ECONOMIC REGIME. 1# Raise taxes on the 1%.

2# Bring back regulation on WS & the FED. Roll back ALL deregulation.

3# Create jobs that aren't outsourced.

4#. End this "Citizens United"USSC trash that lets big corporations buy elections.

Join the fight: DIE BUSH ECONOMY DIE!

  • @Tornado1994 Ignorant cliches. Memo: Clinton signed the repeal of the Glass Steagall Act and pushed for easy loans for home ownership, which enabled the crash that came in 2008. Yeah, read about the GS Act, cretin. You really think that it's red vs. blue, what a fucking idiot. Both "sides" were in on it but you bought the lie.

  • Step No. ! Pass a Consitutional Amendment to remove personhood from Corporations (NOT HUMAN!), to remove the ability of the Supreme Court to allow RICH Republicans to buy lobbyists and votes.

Step NO 2. Elect progressive Congresspersons who will get busy and encourage jobs in alternative energy so we can quit sending $700 billion a year to Arabs who fund Al Quaeda and the Taliban. Check out sauerenergy, com!

  • Reagan preached "Trickle Down" economics" WTF! I heard a Republican speaker declare that it didn't matter how much money was redistributed down from the rich to the middle and lower paid workers, it would all eventually end up back in the hands of the rich anyway! They know this. Why do they need more and more? They want it all! Greed and corruption for years! TRICKLE DOWN, HELL NO! GUSH DOWN, LIKE A WATERFALL. We know what to do with it, We'll start our own companies, since they won't!

  • If the elite of this country were TRULY illuminated, they would realize why Henry Kissinger went from being a handsome young man to devolving into a bloated troll. Maybe our behavior shapes us!! YOU brave beautiful people representing the true spirit of the people are the TRULY illuminated leaders! Bless you!

  • A. The media does show these people B. They look silly C. They don't get more media coverage because they are protesting without a solution.

  • @joerobinow The solution is realy simple , enforce the constution and bill of rights for all people , limit terms for congressmen/women and senators , no more bail outs for corparations or banks , end the fedral reserve , have congress print the money and back it by gold and silver ,end corprate lobbyist , get rid of the patriot acts , close down guantanamo prison , no more assassinations of americans with out fair trials and thats just to start .

  • Yes, poorer people need a representative. No, we can't randomly decide that poorer people (who by the way are not nearly 99% of the population) have more of a right to run the country than people not considered 'poor'.

  • There is something wrong with how governmental policies work, but one thing that bothers me is the man saying 'it's the workers who make things happen and not the guys in suites' (paraphrased). Is he implying that a bunch of workers just randomly get together and decide to build things?

  • LOL

  • WE ARE THE 99%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool i live near Kansas city its an hour drive yes keep going brothers.

  • I'm glad KC is being covered. Way to go KC! I'm proud to live here.

  • That guy from 0:20 to 3:20 was well spoken and eloquent. I would vote for him.

  • @Delisle4 yes, he was quite informed. I enjoyed talking with him for the very reasons you describe.

  • The last gentleman hit it on the head. That is exactly what is going on.I will remember that.Respects.

  • Currently in this monetary system we are only as free as our purchasing power.

  • @Scoripo81 Self-sufficiency seems to be the only way out of modern-day slavery. Even some of the rich people feel guilt. When I was wealthy, I sometimes used to long to be a simple farmer who had no money to lose. Now, I see that remaining close to the land and having natural resources is and will become the new wealth.

  • Wow Kansas nails it. Such savvy and diverse support.

  • Occupy the Northland The Northland area is great but they cater to the rich and upper middle class. Everyone should go to ZONA ROSA and protest!

  • i love kc!! never gonna leave it

  • Some very well spoken people in our area! Especially the first gentleman. I'm curious, has *any* Main Stream media shown up?

  • @JoeTaibiJr My main reason for covering this story in depth is that the mainstream media does not give you the depth that is required to fully grasp the realities. By showing the diverse crowd, you get a sense of the normalcy of the people. I am glad you liked it. Thank you.

  • Yes, there was one mainstream media who briefly covered the story.

  • @stellabelle Do you remember which channel it was? I'd like to try and locate the footage. MSM usually tries to single out the oddballs on these stories or simply give a 20 second clip that serves to undermine the significance.

  • @JoeTaibiJr It was Fox4. They are the only ones who are covering it so far. I will get the link for you. youtube.com/watch?v=M87RPynpaZM&feature=share

  • @JoeTaibiJr I have personally been interviewed by KMBZ 980 news radio and the associated press early in the morning while everyone was still asleep.
