  • McCain is a fucking idiot

    look at the issues

    Ron Paul 2012

  • these 'little countries want to be like us'?!?!?!?! What the crap, dude.

  • nobody "won" anything.

  • Obama is better in this one. Ok maybe he stutters in responding but, McCain tells stories just about every question. Why? Sincere, McCain, he BS'd the easiest question on the planet, "what does rich mean to you?" come on McCain why beat BS that question? If we vote McCain in he wants us all to be rich, shit thats fine with me i'll just have a ton of kids a year, collect McCains 7000 bucks and give the kid up for adoption. C how stupid that sounds! oh ya this was a discussion not a debate.

  • mccain and his motherfucking stories...stick to the questions man! he's put on a good show..i'll give him that, but honestly neither one of them are good choices....

Ron Paul is the best man for the job

  • I agree that Ron Paul is better than either of these.

  • the reason why Obama talked more about his faith is because he talked WAYYY too much! McCain gave clear concise and smart answers and I smiled after every one he gave. Obama stuttered and stammered his way through each question. He contradicted himself, wasn't clear, and was almost boring for someone who is so "charismatic". GOOOOOOOOOO MCCAIN/PALIN 2008!!!! No one is better or more experienced for this country!!!!

  • yep that's right everyone in the middle east is evil! including the 1 million civilians killed as a result of this illegal war. Clear and concise, and dead wrong.

  • Yeah, I agree McCain gave better answers, and that Obama talked too much, But I can't get past McCain's choice of Palin for vice. That decision alone makes me think he's just pandering to the Christian masses (of which I am one) and makes me really question his sincerity in doing "what's best" for the country. Don't pander to me! Show me you can lead and unite ALL OF US!

  • Go McCain/Palin 2008! Woo Hoo!

  • I love how you have a functioning brain and know the difference from a real candidate and a hypocritical organizer. You know it just thrills me to see all the mindless followers who chant "change/hope" as if merely saying those words executes any real or significant change or hope. But my how it gets me giggling, so I say let them rally and chant around a suit that has no man and a goal that has no plan.

  • its funny how u wanted ron paul. first off NOBODY KNOWS WHO THAT IS!!! secind off, he only got like 2 electoral votes, ya hes REAL popular. third off hes extremely liberal and doesnt care about anything!! hes only like 2 feet tall and the country would be really screwed up with migit-man in the office

  • Can we please grow enough as a country to seperate religion and state already?

This country has some serious issues if you honestly think your religion should have anything to do with decisions like these in a "free" society.

Mccain voted no on the GI bill 4 times and wants to continue our war and outsourcing people. Hello?! Do you really want to go hungry because he looks like your preacher?

  • What's interesting to me about blind evangelical support of McCain is that Obama has been much more outspoken about his faith.

I'm sure a lot of partisan evangelicals are probably using the Rev. Wright scandal as an excuse for doubting his sincerity, & I'm sure there are other partisan, if not altogether Christian, "values" that they think they share with McCain, but when Obama speaks, he seems like he has a better grasp on faith and the role of faith in life than McCain does.

  • Its not about faith. Its sincerity and about being able to apply expierience, something The Democratic nominee knows nothing about. But I'm sure you already knew that.

  • Actually, I thought Obama came off as much more sincere than McCain.

I could write forever on the "experience" question. :-)

  • Sincere? During which part, the part where he skirted around the answer? Or was it the part where he mindlessly rambled about religion? Or was it the part where he proved was again he had "goals" and no plan? Or was it when he talked behing the backs of middle class Americans?Enlighten me, on both his sincerity and expierience, I would LOOOOOOVE to hear how being an organizer, makes him fit to run the country. Ya know its funny, I wouldnt even let him organize my daily planner.

  • Yes. Faith should NOT be synonymous with Blind Allegience to the Republican party. Christians should be smart enough and free enough in Spirit to be critical about both of them! As an American, I can't honestly say I think either of them are doing what's best for our country because they're both making Government bigger.

  • mauskartoffel hat echt keine Anung von American politics.

  • Thanks for posting this! Go McCain!

  • Whatever. Neither one of these candidates is going to make a difference. However, just like the current president, I will back whoever is elected. I am with both of these guys in the fact that we should be working for a greater good and lose our self interest. I get so sick of people sticking with Rep. or Dem. views. They are both right and wrong, the problem comes from extreme thinking... in my opinion.

  • It will be SO funny if you Americans choose McCain: Another war spectacle on my telly and - due to his incapability - a lot of schadenfreude.

  • Hussein Obama would have no chance against this man in a one on one debate! I am a Hillary believer who is opposed to Obama and am voting for McCain. John McCain has worked with Hillary very well during their terms together and I believe McCain has deep rooted wisdom, something Obama knows NOTHING ABOUT!!

  • DaniDivine2000: On what are you basing your opinion that adoption has a social stigma? I am 33 years old, and I was adopted. My parents told me that I was a gift from God. In my lifetime, I have told countless people that I am adopted, and noone has ever had a reaction to that information that was even remotely negative.

On what are you basing this opinion?

  • stupid Americans

  • I just watched the entire thing I can't believe how incredible John McCain was. No wonder Obama refuses to attend debates and townhall meetings with him. The laughs, the engagement, the seriousness, the lack of UMM, O, GEE, UMM, HMM, UMM, all his answers where straight to the point, put America first. What a show.

  • "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man."

"The Christian God is a being of terrific character - cruel, vindictive, capricious, and unjust."

"Religions are all alike -- founded upon fables and mythologies."

"In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty."

    -Thomas Jefferson

Remember him? Wrote the Declaration of Independence...yeah, this country was founded on christian values...what a load of bull

  • He also opposed the constitution. But that aside, a few non-contextual quotes from one man, even a great one, does not change the fact that the founding principles of our Country are nearly identical to the principles of Christianity, and that the vast majority of the men who compiled these principles to form a government were Christian.

  • Any Man, No Matter How Great, Who Is Apparently, and Obviously Suffering From Chronic, Long Term, PTSD Should Not Be President Of The United States, Much Less Have His Finger On The Trigger Of The Existence Of The World. I Should Know, I Am A Veteran Living With PTSD For over Thirty Years, And I Know, And See, A Lot of My Afflictions In John McCain. Instant Rage, Not From His Time As A POW, but from the USS Forestall Incident And The Suddenness It's Affect On Him. CHECK IT OUT ON GOOGLE.

  • McCain...he is so full of it!

  • Direct, articulate, knowledgeable, experienced, no question about where he stands.

I hope he will be our next president.

  • huh, are we watching the same debate? I guess there really is a generation gap in this country. He'll be dead before any of his decisions come to fruition. We should be building a country for tomorrow, not focusing on the fears of yesterday.

  • That's it for Mc Cain

    What a lame duck

  • wow, you guys. it is like I've been watching a different broadcasting.

Obama was thoughtful and honest. He gave intelligent answers to all the questions even when his answers were no welcomed in the forum like this.

McCain's proven himself to be a populist who has no clue on how he's actually going to solve the real problems that this country has. It is so easy to say "from the moment of conception" and gladly receive a standing ovation from the religious audience. W. says the same. No results.

  • you have no idea what your talking about. obama cant even give a awswer at all. "um... well... um... thats a good questions um...." mccain is strait foward, and honest. unlike hussein

  • How did you figure Hussein here? ;-)

McCain is straightforward and he might be honest. But he does not support his answers with the arguments.

"I don't want to tax reach ppl more I want everybody to be reach" What kind of b.s. is this? USA has about 8 trill. $ of foreign dept. Where's he going to get this money? Another interesting fact: over the last 7 years 90% of what this country made has been distributed among 3% of the reachest ppl. McCain'll make sure it does not change, "my friends" ;-)

  • ahhhh, uhhhh, huuuuu, accccc, thats above my pay-grade.

    Obama doesn't have a clue.

Let him come back in twenty years... after he serves maybe ONE term in the Senate.

  • It's not a black or white issue. There are many shades of gray. I happen to agree with Obama that later term abortions should be stopped, unless there is real danger to the woman. The bottom line is that women must be the ones to choose. If you can't trust them with a choice, how can you trust them with a child?

  • "If you can't trust them with a choice, how can you trust them with a child? "

Maybe you can't, but an inability to trust a mother with her child is not a good reason to allow the mother to kill her child.

You do have a point, but while whether or not a women who does not want to have a child would be a good mother is important, the life of the child takes precedence.

  • "[Abortion]'s not a black or white issue. There are many shades of gray. I happen to agree with Obama that later term abortions should be stopped..."

Unfortunately whatever else you say, you must admit that life and death are black and white, there are no shades of gray there. And if there is uncertainty on the issue of abortion, I would say that it is better to err on the side of life.

  • Except that there is more than one life to consider with abortion.

  • We talking about the same Obama, he voted against the banning of partial birth abortions. Don't care what he "said" his voting record is clear.

I agree that women should have a choice, but they should choose in the first 18 days or so, they already know what they want by then, and not wait until the last few weeks to make that choice, thats irresponsible and I wouldn't trust them with a child... make adoption easier in this country.

  • In twenty more years of republicans it will be too late for this country ;-)

  • LOL, we've had a year of Dems and the country has gone to h#ll in a hand basket... like we really need more dems like Pelosi.... give me a break... by the way.. search her financials you will find if the price of oil is high, she makes a bundle...

"Ohhhh drilling is a Bush scrill"... BS, not drilling, and WPT makes her richer... so much for the dems being for the poor and middle class.... follow the money....

YOUR BEING SCAMMED... open your eyes

  • You might be right. I don't know how well Peloci's doing. I guess Cheney's not suffering either. But think of it this way - whose administration has made it possible, that the jerks from the both parties make huge money, while the rest of the country will soon not able to afford a trip to the near state.

It's the choice between Obama and McCain. What does this country need? 4 more years of empty promises or some changes? McCain promises a lot. He wants "everybody to be rich". Lol.

  • Well, we are all rich compared to a couple centuries ago; due to capitalism like we never seen it before. And hopefully couple centuries later our "poor" can easily live in mansions per person. But that will never happen if we attack those who become wealthy by providing the most to our country.

  • You can't really compare what we have now to a couple of centuries ago unless you consider inflation and cost of living. It's just more expensive to live these days. We don't need to "attack" the wealthy--we need to make sure that there is enough money in the economy to invest in ways to ease the cost of living on people who are spending more than half of their income just keeping a roof over their heads.

  • A couple centuries ago every one one went around with horses and a larger percentage of there income went to basic necessities, that now goes to leisure activities that only the rich could afford then(even they did not get much). What kind of roof is it(It's not made of sticks and leaves, is it)? No one needs to make sure there's money; some one just needs to stop siphoning so much out of the economy with taxes, for their own political means.

  • wrong! the dems have been in power for 2yrs the result-

    Economy going to Hell.

    Stock market down 20%.

    $4.00 gallon gas.

Soaring food prices because of ethonal mandates for our gaseoline.

worse gas mileage because of this corn shit in our gaseoline.

Don't like the economy thank a Democrat!!!

  • john mccain made a good showing here.

  • I think Obama was right about 1 thing. Having more forums like this would let us know both candidates better, and the best one would win, McCain.

I think he did very well.

  • Either Mccain was training for every possible question for days, or he knew the questions beforehand, or he was just being forthright and honest.

Obama, on the other hand, was exerting every effort to say only what is most acceptable. The mark of a true politician, and of high Washington caliber.

  • I totally agree. I'm writing basic scripts based on answers to questions, and from what I saw, Obama circled around questions time and time again, but McCain got a few extra questions because his was short.

I think both candidates knew the basic questions based on how they answered.

  • I agree, Obama just looked like he had no clue what he was talking about. He needs to get proof to back up his words too :]

  • I've never seen McCain on top of his game like that. Either he was training for every possible question for days, or he knew the questions beforehand.

Obama, on the other hand, had a total of about ten straight minutes of stammering and stuttering, something which drives me nuts. It shows that he was trying much more to say "acceptable" words than what he truly believes.

  • Just on a side the part about the African American women in Alabama sounds very comical if you're just listening.

  • Wow this guy has a story for everything.

  • "We have to be commited to never say never again, again.."

    What did he mean???!!!!

  • He means that every time there's genocide, or some other horrible "thing", we always say "we have to make sure this never happens again." he means we have to MEAN it, ie: do what it takes to stop it.

  • Excellent answers by McCain!! I see that the libs are already crying foul!

    Grow up people!!

  • I love how John McCain told it like it was. Strait to the point. Not what he thought we all just wanted to hear like Obama did. Based on this forum McCain will be the best President of America!

  • McCain won the night. The only thing I didn't like was his answer on the adult stem cell question. He relegated it to academic discussion when the hard progress made with adult stem cells kills the issue for embryonic; although he was better than Obama's "above my pay grade" idiocy. Adult stem cells 20+, embryonic 0. McCain 1, Obama 0.

  • Based on the answers given in this forum, John McCain would make the best leader of America and the free world.

  • Adoption is such a great thing, but our country has this social stigma with it? Why?

  • You think adoption has a social stigma in this country? What???

I was adopted, and proudly say so. My parents told me I was a gift from God. I have told countless people in my lifetime that I am adopted. I have never, ever had any reaction that was even remotely negative.

I would really like to know what you are basing your opinion on.

  • Hey thanks for the respnse. I was talking more about the stigma put on the person who choses to put up there child for adoption. I think a lot of people chose to have abortions rather than adoption cause they don't want to be made to feel bad for giving up there child. And thats right, you are a gift from God, and I am so grateful your biological mother understood that and kept you. =)

  • My biological mother didn't keep me. I am adopted. My adopted mom is who told me that.

And I don't think people, in the area I live anyway, look down on those who give up a child for adoption. Kudos to someone who is realistic with themself about what is best for the child.

I agree with John McCain...adoption should be made easier. Why are we going outside of our country to adopt a baby when there are unwanteds here?

  • I do, for the record, also agree with Obama in that prevention should be made a focus and a real part of the solution.

  • OBAMA 08'

  • no. 1
