I don't know why I diddn't purchase it yrs ago. Love the Warmth, tone, and full-rich sound it emits. It goes well with my Marshall Guv'Nor distortion and amp.

To be honest I've never played the standard phase 90. And honestly I bought this pedal for it's looks(I was a big Van Halen Fan in the 80's)....I lucked out because it's an awesome pedal!

The EVH phaser has an extra feature on it called a script button you push to give you the sound of the phaser eddie van halen used. I like the phase 90's a lot because their dialed in to get the best possible sound you can get out of the phaser.

My main Heavy distortion pedal was my Zoom Tri-Metal(For years), I bought the Keeley MT-2 and I haven't used my Tri-Metal since..............Very versatile and a very Fat fat Sound with a lot of control..........Highly recommemded!
