Folsom was instrumental in ramrodding the 62% legislative pay raise back in 2007. With no notice of the vote beforehand, it was slipped into the resolution readings out of order to get it passed on a voice vote in both houses originally. He pretended to be blind and deaf and proclaimed the resolution as passed via voi...ce vote despite loud calls from multiple senators to have a roll call vote. Alabama's Constitution states a roll call vote must be taken if 3 or more senators make that request.
