Somebody Need's to Send Mark, One of the Nintendo NES-101 Smaller Models, Cause it's Actually made from Nintendo and Better, AND IT has No regional Lock Out, and it's Much more reliable, He would love this over that FC Twin.

Their was a re designed, smaller and more compact version of the original NES, called the NES-101, but i hate the controllers, does anybody no if the original controllers for the NES work with the NES-101 Nintendo also released. the 101 is much more reliable then the original one as the 72-Pin is infamous for breaking and something these things just quit for no apparent reason and you can't fix it.

I watched your review because I was hoping to get an idea of how well the video looks coming out of this unit. Is there any distortion or RF noise? Are NES games displayed fullscreen and at the correct aspect ratio?

@gamehulk I got one and everything is perfect for me. The only thing i found wrong with it is in Zelda whenever you were a room away from the boss and it roars or near the ocean, the music drops and it gets a little staticy near the ocean. I only own that and mario world and mario world works fine.

@7711GHOST11771 I would say the SNES for the simple reason that it was a top-loading system, unlike the NES which loads from the front and which you have to push down after inserting the cartridge. The main problem with the NES's front loading system is that repeatedly pushing the cartridges down will eventually warp the cartridge reader, requiring you to replace it. If you want to buy an NES, make sure it has a new 72-pin connector. I hope that helps.

@riachupwns unless nintendo starts rolling out re-releases of freshly manufactured nes and snes consoles 'which would be awesome, just sell them at the toy section for 20-30$ at stores but nintendo does not care' i dont think it will ever be an issue . nintendo is not losing profit from this because they have not sold they're 8-bit and 16-bit consoles since the late 90's but also they have not seen profit from the games for these consoles since then either. a re-release of older consoles plz.

i have one of these in grey...my only complaints are the included controlers sucks ass big time...the buttons stick and the d pad is no better than one found on a xbox 360 also,certain games dont play well on it for instance,gaunlet 2 automatically spawns a 2nd player the very second you swing your axe/sword during a 1 player game making it impossible to play and does the same if youre playing 2 players because you can only control your one single guy and not an AI that only stands there...

Has anyone had issues with any games controls with this thing ? In Double Dragon 2. It is like what button I push to punch and kick changes depending on which way I am facing. If I face left I hit B [not sure if this is right but for example] to punch and A to kick. But if I am facing right it is the opposite. And what complicates things even further is it only lets me punch the way I am facing and kick the opposite way from what I am facing. If I face right it is impossible to kick right.

While the SNES part is realy good, the NES part sucks.

And thats because it uses the same harware as any other NES clone the "NES on a chip" (NOAC). This little chip just cant produce the proper sound.
