  • The best intro to any song ever !

  • how relevent are these lyrics to day .

  • Pete Townsend with an SG. He had numbers on his guitars for a while so you could keep track of how many he smashed. My SG has this tone in spades. I used a BC108 discrete fuzz to get some grit and fuzz. Discrete means no integrated circuits but individual transistors, etc. I bought an Epi Elite Japanese made 1961 SG copy. Sweet. This just made my glad I got it. Mine is a tad rough, but at least the thing is built like a 1960s Gibson minus the USA part. Sadly USA Gibsons went down hill.

  • Tumbs up if CSi brings u here

  • @hellyeah393 If CSI brought you here then you don't know your music and asking for thumb's up,it's getting old, almost as old as this classic riff so I suggest you make a comment about the band and not CSI.The Who and all their other classic riff's brought me here, not no stupid TV program, this is music, not TV..It's THUMB"S UP Waldo..lmao..

  • @milkboner666 cool! bro chill out and enjoy the music and your bored life! i wrote it because i expect that some full will comment on it. So Don`t Get Fooled Again!

  • Bucks Fizz were pretty loud too..

  • Roger sure loved to twirl that old mic. I wonder if he still keeps one just for fidgeting 'round the house

  • @poolehart Does he have ADHD or OCD or something?

  • a chopped up version...but I still love it!

  • God damn John Entwistle was a beast! Most under rated bassist ever!

  • @daddyblackboots Under rated??? He is considered the greatest rock bassist bar none!

  • i was told once that The Who held the record for the loudest concert ever in the U.S. during a show in Chicago.....is this true? if so, how long did they hold this record?

  • dont know about that m8 i do know that deep purple have the guiness world record for loudest band in the world but i bet the who must have been very loud aswell and there was hendrix i heard he had a 14000 watt pa so that must have been crazy

  • @shredmaster100 Actually, the new world record holders for the loudest band is ManOwaR. 138.4 Decibels was the highest they've ever been and that was the third time they broke their own record :o

  • oh ok but do u know who held the record in the 70,s i think it was deep purple but im not sure because i bet led zepp and the who were loud aswell

  • @RuxLexi1109 on wiki it is from 1976-1980

  • @RuxLexi1109 Not sure how long they held the record, but it was 120 decibles (maybe Pontiac Stadium, not sure). Some people lost their hearing.

  • @bigbadbob58 Actually it was at the Charlton Athletic football ground in London 1976.

  • "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".

'The Who' had that pegged right.

  • most overrated band in the history of modern music...period.

  • @hurtfan09 I was thinking just the opposite. They seem to be underrated based on the variety of their over-all bodt of work. From ballads like Behind Blue Eyes to rockers like this and then the maindtream pop like I Can See For Miles. Not bad at all. In their prime they also put on one hell of a live show..

  • FOR SALE,SEW ON BADGES OF GARY GLITTER AND PETER TOWNSEND,

  • Occupy Wall Street theme song?

  • Well ... ALL these lyrics apply today! & YEP we are Rocking PEACE for a new revolution!

  • Retard? Fuck me thats made my day !!! Moon the loon set the presedence for many of todays drummers...LOL retard..dearie me

  • Quite possibly the most overrated band in the history of music...period.

  • @hurtfan09 Quite possibly the most comical comment in the history of YouTube... period.

  • This song could be written today and still be as powerful as it was then . And will there ever be anyone as good as Keith Moon again?

  • The best song of the rock!!!!!

  • Is the drummer a reatard?

  • @DDDDQQQQ no i think he might have been a fucking genius

  • @mongo0606 i know he's good (and reatard-looking), but whatever, Bill Ward rips his ass to bacon!!!!

  • @DDDDQQQQ Whoever Bill Ward is and assuming he is some sort of rock drummer he should get down on his knees and thank Keith moon for being the prototype, the model. After all he has probably dreamed of being Moon all his life.

  • @tigerarmyrule Black Sabbath ffs

  • @DDDDQQQQ who is bill ward?

  • @DDDDQQQQ No, you are reatard.

  • @DDDDQQQQ We all just maaaay, have to kill you. Have a nice day :)

  • REASON, EMOTION & TRUTH;

You see, most popular entertainers, corrupt politicians, religious 'leaders" and denominational "church" preachers have accepted Satan's offer 666 for fame, money and power......just as long as they "worship" him and lead others away from obeying the Lord God Jesus Christ. I have the evidence.

    Private Investigator Sinne

    U.S.A. Washington

  • Made me feel "ALIVE " at 13 and still does 40 years on ........Thanks to you all Pete Roger Keith and John ...................you inspired me !!

  • Don't get fooled again...Vote Obama out in 2012!!!

Look at how many people got duped by the hype!

  • Don't get fooled again.Vote Obama out in 2012

  • @jmc32007 dude fuck off. Because of him, my disabled grandparents actually received their healthcare and my minimum wage mother is actually receiving union benefits. Go burn a cross in someone's yard asshole.

  • @KramerUSA Maybe they can send You to charm school so You'll learn how to convey your ideas like an intelligent adult and not a whiny rude bane on society

  • @jmc32007 Hmmm.... no counter argument.... The only bane on society are conservatives.

  • @KramerUSA I won't waste my time. You'll have to get Your education elsewhere

  • drums at 1:37 ! I almost cummed

  • @nyce2meetu i did

  • @pickupthebass1 man oh man! Why are there no drums like this anymore

  • @nyce2meetu totally agree

  • @nyce2meetu

You have to search, not just look.

  • @newkillergenius But why aren't they mainstream anymore. that's the point bro

  • @nyce2meetu

Because somehow, must be because we are in some evil alternate universe, Nickleback still sells records. I find a lot I prefer in the obscure, like These Arms are Snakes, the Melvins, Shiner, Cave-In, Taint, Traindodge, etc. For the most part people are still stuck on this bubblegum shit that has "approval of the masses". I dunno... sad what has happened to mainstream music.

  • LISTEN TO THE WORDS AND PAY ATTENTION........

  • fuckin' AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • Moon without a hi-hat :P Oh yeah! :)

  • Wait...Did Keith play without a high hat? :\

  • @KurdtKobain09 no there's a high hat he dosen't use it much but i do belive he has 2 ride cymballs one on each side

  • @beastofblurdon1 I was totally wrong no high hats and no ride cymballs

  • @KurdtKobain09 live he played with crashes and sometimes a hi hat but never rlly used it, on the studio recordidngs he did for alot

  • @femaleFIGURES The Rolling Stones :)

  • The Who rule the Rock World forever !!!

  • This is synced to the original recording!

  • female Figures - Maj. Alton Glenn Miller and his Army Air Force Band were quite good outside as well. -S-

We've all been Fooled Again, and Again.

Jeez, I miss Keith and John...

  • Does anyone have any videos of the Who at Fillmore West or Winterland in San Francisco? We used to sit right at the stage and reach for Roger's mic as it glided/flew over our heads! Those WERE the days!

  • 3:02 best part in the whole song

  • love that red thunderbird bass

  • Awesome...Entwhistle cracks me up......he never seems to be enjoying himself....kind of like the hovering parent in the group!

  • they were ahead of their time then, and music was getting better and better. listen to them now, and they still seem ahead of their time. goes to show how much music has digressed since them.

  • The video I posted of The Dirty Cricks covering Fooled Again is above. The guitar player transposed the synth to guitar. Pretty cool!

  • When did Entwhistle ever stand on stage left?

  • John Entwistle's Fenderbird bass.

  • just before my time but great tune

  • My God Keith Moon was a freaking legend.
