Yes it's freshwater, I no longer have the ray, sold it about 2 years ago and went back to small fish keeping, if i were to keep it it would have required a larger aquarium.
The red tail was a real dude, lovely looking fish, ate very well and had a bit of a stroppy temperament, used to chase things around the tank from time to time.
He was 3 years old and around 5" long maybe 6", definitely the biggest red tail I've ever seen.
Fed on flake food, bloodworm, daphnia, chopped prawn and muscle.
@SausageArm I've seen Red Tails at 8 inches. Just beasts. Most sources tell you 6 inches but they really do get bigger. I wouldn't keep that ID Shark will your Rams because they're going to disappear.
wow that tank is huuge, ive got a few of them fish like the silver sharks the redtail shark on the catfish shark things. nice stingray aswell that must have cost alot?
That's a very interesting mix of fish... Did you have any problems with the puffer nipping at the fins of the other fish? Especially the rams or kribensis?
I had read about people having problems with fin nipping while keeping dwarf puffers, but I never had any problems with them at all. They were fed daily on chopped muscle and prawns. Really nice fish which I would definitely have in a community aquarium again.

No problem, the puffer is not a marine puffer, it's a dwarf puffer fish which live in freshwater, they only grow to around 1" in length. A pleco would be a good scavenger, eating waste and generally cleaning up.
@jetmea do NOT use a catfish as filter, get a real filter.
(buying a 15euro pump and letting it pump water into a bucket on top of the aquarium filled with gravel and a pvc pipe going to the top works fine as filter)
wow, how is everything still there. The pangassius will eat everything apart from the stingray and bearing in mind the pangassius can obtain over 2 foot as well as the stingray. I have a friend with a motoro with a 2 foot disk!
the puffers in my tank are actually dwarf puffer fish, they are fine to be kept in groups of more than one, ive had 3 living together for around 18 months and no problems at all. However theyre now living in a smaller aquarium away from the stingray, due to them becomming smaller than his mouth is at the moment. Its the large puffer fish that i believe are to be only kept alone.
wait i thought tht sting rayz were salt water

BTW: the iridescent cats will eat the rams once they get big enough and probably the columbians too.

Yeah the red tail shark was a right dude, it was about 2 1/2 years old in that video.
No need to worry about the fish though they've all since gone to new homes.
