i dont like the glock... its kind of ugly, has no safety and its not double action.. everything about it bothers me... although i do agree its one of the most hardcore pistols out there.. i preffer walthers though.
I practice with different styles, techniques, and tactics for concealed carry depending on my threats. I do not practice or focus on drawing, because my gun will be drawn in time of danger, I am just waiting to see who will be the first. We all have the same weapons; it is the tactics that separate the winner and loser.
You might want to make your own for perfect concealed carry.
Nice video...I am finding that having many holsters is the best for me so I have different options depending on what I am wearing where I am am going and the weather. Keep up the great videos bro!
I use a DeSantis Intruder or a Galco Walkabout for my G19. The intruder can also hold the G26, G23, etc- basically any of the models besides the .45 and 10mm's.
I have a Don Hume H721 Open Top for my G23, but I'm a thin guy and I still have to dress around it so I only carry it in the cold season. For my G27 I have a IWB holster I use as a pocket holster(mostly cargo pocket) because it's thin and the muzzle end is closed. It a Blackhawk nylon Inside-The-Pant size 5. Uncle Mike's makes an identical holster but their size for the G26/27 is size 12.
That aside, I think I'm going to check out that Gander Mountain holster and the SuperTuck that willwood487's recommendation. Stay tuned, I'll let you all know how things work out.
Thanks to everyone for the input. Can't say how much I appreciate the help.
Gotta say, you've inspired me....I think I'm gonna have to do a few videos on the ID Glock collection. Your the best Marbles.
Great job Mike! Ive always liked that Blackhawk you use. The one Seth sent ya is very nice as well. LOL, now ive gotta buy another holster! Shakin your moneymaker was unexpected though! lolol
You would be the first to know!LMAO! Great looking holsters! That second one looks like a real winner and only $15.00 I have to try to find that. Great video Mike!
@Thenortyboy90 Your going to need to say more then "the first time im buying a gun". What kind of gun? Do you want a long gun, shotgun, or rifle? Whats your price range? What do you want to use the gun FOR? Need more info before we can help.
@Thenortyboy90 Do you prefer revolver, or semi auto? Do you want to shoot alot and thats it, or does it need to be a defense gun too? If you just want to shoot alot, go with a .22LR, rugers are the best, either Rugger mark II's or a .22 revolver. Does it need to also have the ability to protect your life? Go with a .357 mag revolver, you can keep it loaded with .357 incase you need it, but shoot .38's out of it to save money.
@Thenortyboy90 Then go with a Smith & Wesson .357 mag or similar revolver, with a shorter barrel. Remember to check your local laws on CCW / open carry to know whats legal and whats not.
cross breed holster, safariland 6360, blackhawk serpa level 3, galco iwb, i am currently reading information on the new desantis kydex and the new blade-tech wrs holster
Cool vid. Probably a dumb question, but do you find that the kydex holsters scratch up your pistols at all? I've never used a kydex holster, though some of them seem great. It always sounds like the guns are kind scraping when they go in there. I'm assuming my senses are fucked, though - kydex wouldn't be so popular if it hosed up everyone's gun.
I carry my 33 at the ankle in a Galco Ankle Glove. If you have a bad opinion of ankle holsters, ask anyone with one of these and they will tell you to forget all that as these are the ultimate. You get what you pay for as usual.
Beyond that I also carry at the waist and when I do it is a Bellyband. I carry crossdraw appendix carry. I find the printing too much with 3/4 oclock carry and faster access in front anyway.
Finally, my range/rig holsters are all CQC Serpas. Me love them long time.
@cachamelion Which? The bellyband is quite secure as is the Ankle Glove and the Serpa of course goes without saying - locked in. For me, I just find most IWB holsters to be both less comfortable and uneccessary. If you wear a shirt untucked a holster outside the waist band will conceal just as well in most cases. I wear the bellyband outside the pants actually. More comfort, no sweating and the shirt of course covers it equally well. I train alot with ankle carry as well & have confidence in it.
@RobbieGTV Sorry. I meant specifically for the ankle holster. I have always hated how they felt when running and was wondering if this one was any better.
@cachamelion Perfect. Solid as a rock. The gun won't move nor does the strap. The cuff is very wide and secure. No need for the calf retention accessory either. I have two of them & used to hate ankle rigs, not anymore. Equally good with the Glock & 1911 & will fit multiple barrel lengths as well.
Theres some holsters where you can go the whole day and know you have your firearm on you and go through it as if you didnt, but then theres the ones like, if i sit down or move here ima shoot myself in the leg ! haha. great vid yinzer !

@Mwtorres24 Glocks do have a safety...don't squeeze the trigger unless you're ready to fire.
