This piece goes really well with the boss, and it makes for a somewhat creepy experience. It's a really fat butcher type thing covered in blood.

@Jimaera I think there is a back story to every one of the major demons in the game.... I think the Adjudicator was a priest of some sort before all the incidents of DS took place and when he felt himself being corrupted and turning into a demon he tried to kill himself by stabbing himself in the gut..... Obviously didn't work and he turned into the adjudicator anyway

@Kaous10 The Adjudicator is my favorite Demon in this game, I'd be all for hearing more background information on him. I'm thinking the blade was from someone who tried to kill this mighty creature, blade broke in the process. Course also seems Adjudicator had a more noble physique, till he got fat devouring so many people.

Anycase, that'd be pretty cool if that was the lore.

@Kaous10 The adjudicator is a "judge" of the dead in the religion of the shadow men, the golden crow judging them worth or not, and the body eating them if they weren't. Bosses in the Shine of Storms are basically the beliefs of the shadow men made real.

Easy boss once you know the pattern. All you need to do or have is either have bow or magic arrows and run around him shooting the big 'hit me' bird and he will go down less than 5 minutes depending on how strong you are.

Well sure, you could do it that way. But the FUN way is to get up close and personal with him. Hack away at the part in his stomach that has a big metal chunk in it. You'll know it's working if you don't bounce off and some blood spews out. He'll fall over eventually and the bird starts freaking out and squawking. You should only need to do this 3-4 times on your first play through.

@MrIronWar what i did was, i stood up top and shot magic at him, then rolled back to the fog gate when he was about to shoot his tongue out.

@EpsilonX I also did that the first time but it´s actually just as easy if you do it from the lower level of the room. His cleave swing is too easy to dodge and gives you a lot of time to slash his wound and make him fall.

@Morphogenesis13 According to the in-game description of the Adjudicator's shield, this "golden crow" is the Adjudicator's master, and the one who technically judges the souls of the Shrine's heroes.

It always stuns me again, how freakn awesome the Soundtrack is. Towerknights Theme is mocking me, Flamelurkers Theme could have said "Well, now youre gonna get raped" as well, and this one reminds me of the Music playing on a Medieval Feast.

@TalonMercenary Not a good idea. There's no doubt he's a filthy rat bastard, but he's the only merchant who sells Archstone shards. If he dies, you have to go 3/4 of the way through the Valley of Defilement and fight all those plague rats, without the guarantee that any of them will even drop one.

the game isnt hard if u grind a wee bit and prepare before each boss's aslong as u focus throughout the whole thing should be fine, even if u mess up umpteen times in a fight u should still be okay, only boss that gave me trouble was man eater, i constantly got thrown off the edge's lol :<

Just stand on the second level and spam Soul Ray or Flame Toss. If you roll with good timing, you should be able to win without taking any damage.

Maneater DEFINITELY the worst. I was a level 85 before i could finally kill him. I did not have trouble surviving, it's just they kept pushing me off the ledge which was astronomically frustrating. Finally toppled them today and the old monk was a breeze after that hahaha.

I read that when he was turning into a demon, he attempted to commit suicide to stop himself from turning, but it didn't kill him since before he was a demon, he was originally one of the tomb's protectors.

Wrong. In truth:

Adjucator was a pagan myth creature whom judged souls.

Old Hero was also an exemplified individual whose myths brought him back to life.

Storm King was another disembodied pagan deity, when the colorless fog came in, the demon took the form of the god.

Fool's idol was a 'golden calf' used to manipulate people.

Maneaters were 'Chimera's" ( personal demon's made by the king of the tower of Latria)

The Old Monk was the former king of the tower who became golumn with the gold robe.

Believing that this envy could be twisted to its own ends, the Old One presented this monk with robes inlaid with demonic magic, granting him great power. With it, the monk seized the throne for himself. The Old One basically ran the show thereafter, until the monk dies and has his soul consumed.

Tower Knight was another twisted version of one of bolataria's legendary knights

same with the penetrator.

False King was a dmon made b wannabe allant in his image.

Maiden Astraea went wit Garl Vinland to cleanse the lan of impurities and were forced to seek the aid of demons to do the job.

The rest are pretty much random giant monsters.

Garl and Astraea we're a holy warrior and a priest who discovered that God and the Old One were the same thing. So they figured using the demonic powers of the Old One were no different than using the miracles of God, and thus used their demonic powers to relieve the pain of the damned living in the swamp.

The hero is forced to kill them so that the Old One can be stopped. It's unfortunate, but it was a "good of the many vs good of the few" type situation.

to be honest, most bosses in this game are easy, maybe the flamelurker and the maneater are hard, but there are still some odd game mechanics you can use for your advantage.

yeah lol I never bothered to fight Flamelurker face up, I just trick him into running into the bones constantly and shooting him in his face over and over till he dies lol.............cheap but effective.
