well place urself in the position of any parents, it's difficult just to see that ur child has that extra burden. I had to wear glasses from when I was very young and whether or not it's normal for a child to be diagnose with poor eyesight is beyond the reason. the fact is still that parents would rather see their children not carry that extra burden. most people hate not having perfect vision, so it's no surprise that she's concerned for her child.
