Saw a triangle of 3 bright red UFOs in sky South-west travelling east at around 12:10-12.20 and then fading and disappearing. Newcastle Upon Tyne. These were bright red not orange and the triangle took a large area of the sky up. Someone else must have witnessed them.

This evening my colleague and I were throwing boxes into the bins around the back of the Oatsheaf pub fleet. On heading back indoors I noticed four of these lights passing over us. She initiall dismissed them as helicopters, but then I pointed out there was no noise. The lights began in an L shape formation, and then scattered as they became obscured by clouds. They silently and slowly crept past us heading South. The time was approximately 20:40 and the date was Thurs 11 March 2010.

around 12:15am 01 Jan 2010 i saw lots of activity of these strange lights over the tynemouth area. some flew alone, some flew in formations. Some stopped and hovered and shot off. They were all completely silent, with no flashing lights. Cant be fireworks, planes or lanterns as none of them can suddenly stop hover then shoot of at an angle then come back into formation.

I was in a pub in Cheshire and there was a lot of commotion and we all went out side to see what the fuss was about. I saw 15 of these just stuck in the sky for about 2 hours. They were incredibly bright! Also It was breezy and they didn't budge for the whole time so they weren't lanterns. if they were they would have floated up from the ground. I also saw some just appear next to each other. Google this and you'll find they are all over the UK and Europe atm

they could be lanterns, however judging from the distance they are, and taking into account mobile camera lense size, for them to be chinese lanterns floating away, each lantern would have to be 20ft in diameter for the lights to be as clear and as vivid as that...

i seen very similar lights over the braid hills in edinburgh
these are deffo not chinese lanterns as a few of them were swooping low and back up again
they were also very bright
much brighter than any flame
they slowly vanished soon after spotting them
this was on the 3rd of march 2010 at around 8:20 and lasted about 25-30 minutes, i was close to them but heard no engines or anything like that

we counted a good 32 [give or take] to bright to be lanterns, to slow and to many to be planes, no formation to be army,
someone said they've heard about these bein' seen all over europe aswell,
for now though...my moneys on missiles or satillites

they could be lanterns, however judging from the distance they are, and taking into account mobile camera lense size, for them to be chinese lanterns floating away, each lantern would have to be 20ft in diameter for the lights to be as clear and as vivid as that...

I was at the Free Trade pub last night, they were chinese lanterns being set off from Ouseburn Regeneration Centre

i seen them too when i was at felling metro station , there were hundreds of them and hey were definatly not chineese lanterns. most people would say there probalies UFO's and i think they are aswell

i saw them when i was outside newcastle arena after seeing girls aloud duno what they were cudnt have been planes and helicipters as there was no sound and they were travellin 2 close

we were in town for the girls aloud concert last night and afterwards saw loads of these emerging from over the bridge. they were all really slow and most slowly faded in the same place, we were adamant they were UFOs!!

me and my friend seen them moving along the sky above the quayside last night..people were trying to say they were planes but they definatley wernt..really crazy!

My daughter came home last night totally freeked out!! She knows I'm a regular on the David Icke site and thinks I'm a bit of a nutter, she showed me the footage she has, my initial thoughts are Chines lanterns. She had pulled over and spoke to a taxi driver who had called the police who said they where helicopters and something to do with D Day celebrations!!. Strange there was nothing on local news. I was watching Mel Gibson in the film Signs when she came in.
