The fact that God allowed Satan to touch Job as far as his very flesh shows how much trust the Almighty has even in his imperfect creatures, in this case Job. It shows that God knows we're capable of doing the right thing even under severe test. His confidence in us is part of his love for us. This is why God has allowed suffering. The book of Job is a microcosm of human history.

In the resurrection Job will get his other ten sons back, which is why the Bible says he is rewarded with twice as much as what he lost. Jesus' resurrection of Lazarus, etc. was to demonstrate what the world under his rule would be like, which is why he said to pray that 'God's Kingdom come, his will be done ON EARTH as it is in heaven'. The story of Job is basically this: Satan was able to tempt God into ruining Job for no reason at all.

God was weak-minded by letting Satan tempt Him into bullying and torturing Job.

Those are God's own words to Satan. It's right there in the Bible; proof that God is NOT good and loving.

i USED to use the NIV but Ive done research on the Modern Bibles Vs. KJV Bible and There are alot of verses missing and changed words..

for example compare the NV and Contemporary English Version of Acts 8:37 to the KJV Acts 8:37 .I also advise you to research. there are various videos on youtube that will show you the comparisons of the Bibles.

If you have trouble understanding KJV then pray and ask God for the ability to understand better :D

The story of Job demonstrates to the believer that despite whatever adversity that we may find ourselves in,God is in CONTROL of the situation and the moral of the story is that if we remain faithful to the end,we will find that God will be very pitiful and merciful to us as well.

Just thought I'd point out that this video portrays only a small portion of the book of Job. I highly recommend reading the entire book. But I think you should at least read the epilogue in chapter 42.  It might not change your opinion of God. But it should at least show that God wasn't out to kill Job.
