Actually, it's perfectly understandable why you'd want to play easy mode on the American version of the game. Did you know that easy mode in the American version of resident evil 2 is the same as normal mode in the Japanese version of the game? That means that normal mode in the American version of the game is harder than normal mode in the Japanese version of the game. It's true, so don't worry about playing resident evil 2 on easy mode. You're not a wimp for doing so.

I really don't know. Normally, it's the other way around, but I read that the Japanese version of Resident Evil 2 was released a week after the North American version and it was made easier by giving the player more ammuntion and making the enemies weaker. The game over scenes were also edited to make them less gory! Strange, huh? About the controls, you tilt up to move forward, down to move backward, and left/right to pivot your character. It's like controlling a tank.

At 4:46, in the 2nd room with the box, you can obtain Claire and Leon's alternate costumes from the locker. You have to run to the police station without collecting ANY items, that means ammo, the shotgun/bowgun, and you walk down the under-bridge part of the police station out the front, and you have to kill Brad Vickers with the knife only and you get the key to the locker,
