  • pls what is the name of music?

  • I am so proud to see someone do the right thing when It comes to the animals that really need a break. You men are Heroes, in a world full of abuse and sadness. GOD BLESS THE ONE WHO CARES FOR THE CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL

  • Aww, I really appreciate the kindness they gave to the rat.... BUT rats are disgusting, they carry diseases, and they creep people out. There are BILLIONS(or more) of those wild rodents all over the globe and they multiply FAST.

Those wild(not pet store) rodents should be exterminated. I know people would be giving me thumbs down and all that, but It's only MY opinion.

  • Hells no...I give you a thumbs up for being real. Anyone who thinks that rats are nice fuzzy little benevolent creatures should spend 15 minutes in NYC or any other city really.

I love most animals but a rat in my toilet equals death! I actually have a distant relative on my mom's side who had a child who died in NYC in the early 1900's from an infection from a rat bite. F*ck rats!

  • It wasn't the rat, it was the infection.

Pet rats are fuzzy little benevolent creatures. You will find a feral dog to be more dangerous than rats.

  • @Teemeadow

If you read my comment carefully

"Those wild(NOT PET STORE) rodents should be exterminated."

I guess we can't exterminate all these WILD rats for they serve as food for other predators(hawks, snakes, etc.), but we must exterminate many of them because they are infesting, there is just too many of them. We need to control their population. And I am only talking about rats, not humans. Every time I argue about this, they always try to compare it with the human situation.

  • Treemeadow...Oh, thanks...you have enlightened me!! No shit it was the infection, I didn't suggest that the rat maliciously stabbed my ancestor with intent to kill, did I? Thats why I said "FROM AN INFECTION" So because you have/had a pet rat that must mean that all rats in the world are cuddly little bundles of love, right? Wrong...they spread disease and destroy everything in the wild.

  • They spread fewer diseases in the wild than feral cats and dogs do.

I'm actually part of a rat eradication program with the zoo I intern at. Just because an animal has over-populated and causes some trauma does not mean we have the right to say "down with the beast!!"

Rats aren't vicious- they're wild. All wild animals will fight for their survival, and rats have evolved to do it best.

I don't show animal favoritism. That includes hating something for being better at survival.

  • uh, not ALL of them :S

Rats themselves carry few diseases. Feral dogs carry far more than rats do.

Its really only black and brown rats that are problems, and even then, it would be foolish to eliminate them all. They maintain a slot of the eco-system, and getting rid of them may have unknown dangers.

  • Lol. Love the gloves. Glod bless the animals and you guys too. Still one of my favoritest videos.

  • Thank God there are good people in the world like you guys.

  • I'm so happy you saved it <3

  • Awe, you even gave it food, that's awesome!

  • sorry, I wanted to reply to 220HV :)

  • Good job there guys...I would have done the same..or kept it with my others..lol...We have over 100 rats (we breed rats for pet stores)they are awsome animals though...and against popular belief are VERY CLEAN ANIMALS

  • Are you sure you want to say over 100 rats and "breed rats for pet stores".

Most pet-store rats are food rats. Please tell me you freeze them before you sell them- otherwise you're only sending your litters to painful deaths.

If you love rats so much, why not establish yourself as a breeder, and improve things for rats. Or are you just trying to make money off them?

Do you REALLY love them, if thats the case?

  • aw you saved him thank you=) for once someone people are kindly to animals

  • at least you saved it. your invite into heaven now.. lol

  • rat had a hang over huh :P

  • Thanks for being kind.

  • One word..remember the Black plague.

  • As far as I know, the Black Death was not caused by rats but by fleas, and the disease had a devastating effect because of the poor health and sanitary conditions. Rats carried the infected fleas, and spread the disease, just like other animals did. The plague we know as the Black Death probably consisted of several kinds of diseases that were perceived by Medieval people as one horrible illness, but in fact there were different kinds of epidemics under this label.

    Thanks for sparing this rat!

  • thank you for putting it in a safe environment and taking care of it most peioke would of flushed it back down.

  • When rats will rule the world you'll gonna get a monument for being inhuman because only human beings kill without purpose. ;)

No really, that was a good deed.

  • Ahahahahahahahahaha, ahahahahahaha. Funniest thing I've read all day.

  • Actually, there's a purpose for killing a rat that comes out of the toilet. The purpose is not to get their diseases like the Plague, tularemia, salmonellosis, rat-bite fever, and the list goes on and on and on. I hope he wore gloves. He should've just flushed it with Clorox.

  • THE WORLD NEEDS MORE PEOPLE LIKE U GUYS
