I am a 17year old film student and I've been looking really long for a proper tutorial on how to handle and train with the steadicam. just bought my Flycam 5000 with arm and vest. really gonna train hard to master it. again thank you !
You´re welcome. This is just the beginning of a course. You should find videos of Garrett Brown, the founder of Steadicam, meanwhile owner is Tiffen. He explains in a good way to understand how smooth you get the pictures. Example; in "Shining" he did all the steadicam shoots.
Hi MT, "seasick shots..lol... Thank you for your comment. Well this is from a video tape and it took month to get it to a stream because of the standards. You won´t need any other instruction than that one. Just follow these training and do small clips, over and over and you will see it will work. I hope you are tall and strong enough for it. take care, fullframe
At last... a real steadicam course! A pearl between all 'my first seasick shots with my DIY junkcam' movies. Fullframe, if you have more of this, share it.
FINALLY thank you so much !
