  • I remember him too. I remember him as a young college student appearing kind a genuine. He turned out to be a total fraud. At least he was true to baseball. I also remember him telling me about his father and mother. I often wonder how he could have turned out like he did.

  • I remember when he and Kenny Lofton went head to head for the 1992 ROY. Listach beat him. However, he and Lofton's careers went in two different directions. In fact, Listach would be considered one of the all-time one-year wonders in baseball.

  • The whole story is that Pat was a friend of my older brother through baseball. My younger brother was getting married in Des Moines and all our friends and family went to a local bar/restaurant downtown before the wedding. Pat hit on my wife even after speaking with me and knowing she was my wife continued to hit on her after we spoke. His explanation was that he thought she was the one getting married. My wife was in tears since this creep would not leave her alone.

  • Pat Listach is one of the worst people I have ever met. This guy has ZERO morals and cheats on his wives. He is lucky to have a job in baseball since he wouldn't go anywhere with his lack of character and brains.

  • @jmcandrew2008 I grew up with Pat. His dad was my principal in elementary school. His mom was my English teacher. I even played little league against Pat. While maybe not perfect, Pat is still a great guy! Those without sin cast the first stone.
