hey does it cost to play lan? because i know that you have to pay to play online. i hope it doesnt because me and my mate really want to play this together.

nope. it doesn't cost extra cash..at least this is for free.

Suprised you actually commented back ;o tunngle does suck i tried so hard to get online ugh idk i had problems with the game.Gears of war 2 is awesomeness online horde co op execution fun :D i downloaded gears of war 1 online =/ still playing

Oh yeah, does Gear on PC have voice over IP, or some kind of incorporated voice chat... on LAN MP particulary(tho I presume if it would have, it would work either online or LAN anyway).
