I remember a few years ago I heard him on the radio and got all excited because I thought that Tori had a new album out...then I found out it was Casey, and Ive gotta tell you this guy is absolutly amazing. Divide is a great album and Opaline is one of my favorite songs!!! and he gets bonus points for being out and talented...theres a lot of out artists and there are a lot of talented artists but someone who is gifted and brave enough to be both is a rare, wonderful find.

Well, actually, he is singing like himself. He's picked up a lot of Tori's mannerisms because of his love for her music, so I can understand what you said and you are certainly not the first to have said so....but the more you listen/watch him, the more you see Casey instead of Tori...at least, that's how it worked for me.

Well i really wanted to comment on Casey's "coolimg" cover- but comments there have been disabled...it's so strange to hear a man emulate my favorite female song writer.  I thought "oh this is gonna SUCK"...but i have to give credit where it's due... pretty good year may be a little ambitious for his voice but i think he NAILED cooling...espcially the end. Thank you for doing justice to Tori's songs...the only other covers i've heard were awful

he's not singing like a woman(although he may sound like one)...he's just using a techniche(a singing techniche) called "falsetto" which is The extreme upper range of the bass male ladder before going to the high range ladder. The falsetto register sounds much softer than the rest of the voice range and is also much more difficult to control and to obtain. That means he can sing, just about any song.anyway...i love his cover and i adore tori...he's amazing

My friend found him at a listening booth at Tower Records- this was when Casey was with Sony and put out "Standing At The Edge". (he has since gone independent.) Anyway, I liked him immediately and the more I heard, the more I fell in love with his music. And he is AMAZING live. Yes- unfortunately The Bitter End crowd is always noisy but see him at The Intersectin in Grand Rapids and it's a completely different experience! Let me know if you have any other questions, etc!
