just bcos i disagree with a lifestyle as immoral doesn't mean that i wanna take away the civil/human rights of the person who practices it :)

I think heterosexual adultery is immoral but doesnt mean I want to deny them their right to live, vote etc

BUT it still doesn't give him or anyone else the right to try to convince everyone else that being gay is wrong and that there is a "light" that needs to be realised to find real love. 

It just makes me so angry that there are still people like this who are holding back development of human and civil rights for everyone. SHAME

pfft... give me a friggin' break. just because this edmund guy decided to change and force himself to be straight (c'mon, nobody CHOOSES to be gay), doesn't mean that gay men or lesbian women cannot have real love, as he puts it.

If he has really changed, put him to the test. There's a place in Chicago where they test homosexuality based on images they put up in front of you and your brain's response. If he can say that he doesn't get aroused by men, then he's changed.
