Oh hello! Have you considered intellectus diet (do a search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my sister lost crazy amounts of weight with it.
Hey there! Have you thought about intellectus diet (search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cooworker lost a ton of weight with it.
I want to believe this is the right cardio to do, but look at this guy..he's built like a q-tip...hardly any muscle at all....leads me to think that high intensity burns too much muscle
@yahoopl3 i see what u mean but i think that mite just be an over generalisation... like look at olympic sprinters, all they will do is mega high intensity intervals, theyll never do long periods of low intensity cardio and most of them are built like tanks... i think so anyway...
@DrUpthebum I've heard proponents of HIIT say the same thing. However, I think a sprinter's build primarily has to do with his genetics, and not the kind of cardio he does. Look at Carl Lewis, Asafa Powell, and Usain Bolt. These are, or have been (in carl's case) the fastest men in the world. They are hardly built like tanks. Very skinny guys. Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world, is like 6'4" and 198 pounds. That's pretty small for his height.
do you want to know how to really "Burn Belly Fat". Cut you food portions in half and double your excercise output. I lost 140 lbs in 1 year and I still have another 80 lbs to go. Any excercise done too often will lead to injury and slow down your progress. Keep it moving and learn to eat quality food and good health will be the result.
This is cardio training. If you choose to run on a treadmill etc you are better off doing it in intervals, like suggested. You need to keep your body guessing for ongoing results. The heart will work harder if it thinks its going to rest then you go hard again. If you get me? Good work mate.
i keep watching this and thinking no way... imagine an overweight person... they have a hard enough time getting out to walk aroudn the block with their dog, now imagine them fucking sprinting ir doing hiit kettle bells swings.. damn dude thsi is fuckin stupid
@0587dave - Of course they would need to progress to higher intensity training... I agree that it would be a mistake to jump right into something this advanced. Good point. However, the concept behind CB's message is accurate once an individual is ready for it. Plus it saves time!
when i was in the Army i never did high intensity cardio. we did 1-2 sessions of interval training alternating jogging and running for about 20minutes at about 60:120 but other than that it was a 2 mile run. we lost fat like a motherfer and ate tons of food. high intensity training canbe very hard to recover from and hard on your joints especially if your overweight so dont listen to this shit
Nice video Craig. Spending an hour on a treadmill, bike, or elliptical machine is a waste of time and the reason a lot of people don't hit the gym. Circuits, tabata, and sprints are much more effective and take 1/3 less time. When you do resistance training in circuit fashion, you get the benefits of improved muscular strength and endurance in addition to the cardio benefits.
It's an interesting opinion and worth debating. Is there scientific evidence you can quote us or is it just that you had heard this somewhere. Cardio fitness is very important to ones health and if you can back up what you say then I would be happy to dump walking and stick to a fast paced weight workout.
Hey--I love to do cardio--I run 3 times a week. I also weight train 3 times a week. I soon will be doing interval training once a week. Not enough on that last one? I use a workout that will teach you about INTENSITY--guaranteed!! But, each of the three above regimens has it's place in a correct approach to total body fitness. Being anti cardio is no more sensible than being a cardio fanatic.
cardio is dangerous and non effective, human ancestors only ran when they were chasing something or something was chasing them so running activates stress hormones which steals resources from sex hormones and muscles. That's why runners lose muscles and sex life and they get fat again if they miss a session
Early humans were hunter gatherers--they moved around a lot in a nomadic lifestyle. They didn't have cars. That means they loggerd a LOT of miles on foot--which is cardio. I wonder how they reproduced so well with their diminished sex drive? To be against cardio is to be against not only running, but also walking, hiking, swimming, cycling, etc. That makes no sense--and no runner gerts fat by missing 1 session.
human ancestors stayed around where they were moving at most few kilometres in their lifetime only in search of food. They were moving around only in search of food which activated stress hormones in order to survive, without stress and running our ancestors could not survive but they did it only because they had to. That's why when you are running the stress hormones get activated because it thinks you are in danger and it steals resources from your muscles and sex hormones.
Science believes that humans originated in sub-Saharan Africa, and spread out from there. If they only moved a few Km. during their lifetime, the rest of the earth would still be uninhabited--LOL. Doing intervals, and weight training also releases stress hormones--these activities aso build muscle. I believe your argument is incorrect--unless cardio is done excessively. The same would apply to weight training as well--it's called 'overtraining'.
Even if one can build a more muscle bound physique by doing no cardio, it is not a comprehensive form of fitness. Total body fitness requires weight training, some form of cardio, anaerobic exercise (limited interval training), and stretching. The first 3 will all release stress hormones.
I am going to play 'Dead Space' soon--(popular survival--horror video game). It will probably activate some stress hormones. I don't think it will make me skinny, or reduce my sex drive--xD.
When you do cardio your body increases cortisol stress hormone and develops resistance to change and expanding energy so your body keeps the last amounts of fat and takes your muscles and sex hormones. When you do cardio your body is always under stress so it wants to survive and be preserve
Resistance training , yoga and pilates increase the blood flow and increase the metabolism so that you burn calories even after
btw if people moved 1km for 10 000 years they could go from Africa to China
Latest science believes that the human body is the ultimate cardio machine. It is postulated that our ability to outdistance even the fastest prey over the long haul with a steady run of moderate pace played an important role in securing food resources. So our bodies have evolved selectively to favour those with genetics that allow good aerobic performance.
Also, cortisol secretion varies among individuals. People are biologically wired to react differently to stress. One person may secrete higher levels of cortisol than another in the same situation. To lump everyone together re their tolerance for cardio is too simplistic.
So many activities involve cardio--running, swimming, cycling, hiking, brisk walking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, etc. etc. You are suggesting that all of these activities have an overall negative health impact? Wrong message IMO in a society with epedemic levels of obesity. I get around on a moutain bike 8 months of the year. I am 55--in a recent physical my doctor said I have the blood pressure of an 18 year old--my BMI is right where it should be. With that I rest my case
the only reason human could outrun some animal is because humans shed body hair so they could run to survive danger and to catch food. So when you run your body activates stress hormones because the body thinks your life is in danger Ancient humans ran only when their life was on the line, they didn't run for pleasure or to lose weight and get fit as the cardio
so can sugar and alcohol but only for a while and then the crash comes. Anything that inflames stress hormones and lasts a long time and perpetually is bad
So, that rules out both cardio, AND interval workouts. I don't drink or consume junk foods. Don't use drugs--little contact with women. Hmmm--what's left? Sitting in front of a computer monitor all day? Guess I'll jsut stick with my unhealthy regimen of regular stress inducing exercise, and hope the health impacts arern't too devestating.
Mate I kind of understand where you are coming from but I have to disagree with the whole spot reduce ting no matter how many sit ups you do!!!!
Once you have the high intensity weight based routine then you start to burn a lot more calories due to the fact that your metabolism is starting fire a lot harder and that is what causes you to loose the body fat then you are able to see the abs a lot clearer!!!!! But yes doing abs work will help you develop them!
