  • awesome!

  • Matusow and any other player should get a penalty for touching another player during a hand. He was trying to take his pulse! I would have put the mouth in a hammerlock right there. Way uncool move.

  • needs to be a donkey to win a wsop

  • You gotta feel bad for Bellande... I saw him get busted like this so often! 4, 3, 2 or even 1 outers like on Poker After Dark! Though it's pretty funny to watch him, when he gets a bad beat!

  • omg THE SEVEN LOL

  • Thank you so much for posting these! You made my day!

  • I love Hellmuth's reaction to the river 7.

  • 6:05 "Bye bye."

  • people always forget... a hand is 5 cards. Not 2. Poker is the best 5 cards wins and put your money where your mouth is. Anything else is just talk.

  • fucking faggot

  • to be fair was it even that bad a call? he had to call like what 60k into a 110k pot? and he was 3 - 1?

funny as fuck tho thats for sure!

  • the russian said excuse me as he shook Bellande's hand haha

  • He called for 37 % where he needed 39%. In that sense it is a bad call. If u are the big stack u can often take close calls if u dont risk a lot of ur stack. For every player u take out each of ur chips become more worth. But it was a gutsy call

  • + dont forget that as a cheapleader each call u make will deter others from u

  • i can't realy agree with your theory of "chips worth". It'd be like you say if the guy who knockedout someone doesnt get the chips. something like that.

  • I don't care what anyone says he was a dick for calling with 9 10 and scum like him make me sick.

  • Comment removed

  • Indeed - was a noob call.

  • Matusow was a dick that hand. Totally inappropriate touching an opponent during a hand

  • would have called floorman to give him a time break...

  • he's always a dick

  • @mbelma6329 lol that actually was funny

  • @mbelma6329 Yea, that was like the power of positive gayness

  • Comment removed

  • peak of his powers... lol

  • lol

  • says that if i hit, ill take a lot more chips and justify the call. implied odds only really works if the opponent has a deep stack, so ideally he'll be as deep as you or deeper.

  • wow belande. bad beat.

  • id put my money on phil too, haha

  • it's creepy how akopyan said "bye-bye" before the seven hit the river, lol

  • I hate this game sometimes. Where's the justice?

  • ur gambling

  • OMG HE HIT A 4 OUTER

thats the biggest pile of shit ever

  • generally the point is to count the outs before you put the money in, not at some arbitrary point at the turn when you go all in pre flop.

  • I just went back and watched the video and he called 67k to win 108k, which makes it a horrendous call.

  • the hand at 4:00 wow

  • Hugh pant-wetting at 6:20 lol.

    Shocking 10-9 call!

  • Did I tell you that you look very handsome today, sir?!!?!?

Jean-Robert, he can still hit a seven!

    Rofl

  • I like Jean-Robert, but I can't help finding that hilarious... poor guy.

  • T,9 wow. and it was os....I guess theres idiots in the main event too.

  • AQ vs 9T, loose call, profitable against this loose players in the long-run, this type of loose player in the other hand, would only win in a short run but in the long run, good bye. but whatever, 9T vs AQ, its poker lol

  • Actually, mathematically, that was the right call. Implied odds, with that hand, you have about 33% chance to win, so you pay 66k to win about a 176k pot. Mathematically, correct call. Though, most players would not have made that kind of call as they would expect to go against JJ, QQ, KK, or AA at this point.

  • There are no implied odds if you're calling an all in......

  • There are implied odds everywhere and at every moment at the poker table.

  • Pay attention, you only have implied odds "if" you can win more money on later streets,if you're calling an all in you cant....Please learn the meaning of implied odds before you comment.

  • Source please.

  • He's right. Implied odds take into consideration the amount of money a player can win if he hits or misses his draw/hand on future streets.

What you're describing is Pot Odds. Which paying 66k to win 176k with a 33% chance to win the pot is mathematically a pretty bad call. It's not horrible but most people wouldn't make the call.

  • Wait, so timeout, I was sure 66k to win 176k with a 33% chance to win a pot was a good call... unless if I mixed it up and it should be 66% instead...

  • If you're 33% to win a hand or 1/3, you'd wanna be getting at least 3 times your money to justify a call. Which 66k to win 176k isn't quite 3x, it's close which is why it's not a terrible call but I wouldn't have made it.

When calculating pot odds you always wanna make sure that the odds of catching your hand are, at the very least, equal to the amount of money that can be won.

  • at that moment he was calling 66.5 to win 108k. that's 1.62-1. his chances of winning were 63-37, or 1.7-1. it's the right call, if you go by the 37% chance stated.

implied odds is something different. for example, someone put in a 2x pot sized bet heads up when i have the nut flush draw on the flop. the chances of hitting the nut flush is 34% i.e. 2-1 with two cards to come, but pot odds says i need 5-2 to call that, so i should muck. however, if i do hit the nut flush, implied odds

  • dumbass

  • Wtf do you mean source? Do you know the definition of implied odds? My god.....

  • this is fun

  • wow, that dumb nigger's T9 call was asinine, fucking idiot.

  • PH is an ass, end of story.

  • Phil's a classic. Love watching him play.

  • LOL.. OWNED>

  • omfg that russian knew it was coming LOLOL

  • He looked like a devil sitting there and smiling... creepy!

  • that's awesome "did I tell you, you look good today sir" response "bye bye" bang 7

  • jean robert should of called the guys raise. flop would of came.. the aggressor would of checked he would of bet heavily and then the aggressor would of folded.

he would of won a small pot instead of losing all his chips.

the guy only raised 16 and jean robert came over the top for an EXTRA 64k.

jean robert could of prevented that bad beat if he played it differently imo.

  • wat if, a 10 spikes on the flop. Jean Robert has to check and then folding, giving up 1/5 of his stack. He couldnt just call, its poker. That was a loose call preflop though, maybe he had lots of chips.

  • yeah but he probably didn't expect to be against that bad a hand, he probably figured he was up against an inferior Ace kicker or a small pair at best, besides with AQ preflop and that short stack 90% of the time it's all in, that guy just overplayed his hadn and was pretty much obligated to call

  • I'm not with you. But I'll take it as a thank you.

That quality is fine, but if you want to post them, maybe I can retire?

  • Don't retire Random, you're doing a wonderful job! Whatever you do, you're always going to get haters or people who aren't satisfied. But think of all the people like me who appreciate your dedication!

  • @RandomPoker Thanks for posting, these are a joy to watch and you learn a thing or two about poker too... you got my thumbs up!!

  • u can either stop watching them or appreciate that he's posting videos for the greater public.

  • i know puddin'

    lol

  • he gtess the right odds with t9

  • jeezus the more times I'm watching this, I'm going like "Oh my freakin' god, I live for that shit!"... ah, nice one...

  • i miss the old hevad khan ! but hes a good player

  • fucking sick, getting knocked out with 10 9 off suit

  • I think Alkinoos7 is the most intelligent person in the world.

  • this deserves a ROFLcopter!

  • "Jean-Robert ladies and gentlemans" pwned ;d

  • in a cash game you might call, but that was a terrible tournament play

  • Id say he put him on AK or AQ and therefore it was a good, courageous call.

  • See ya later, you Vince Vaughn-wannabe douche.

  • All the Poker Stars idiots in this episode ....

    Guy had 800,000 Day 3

  • Well its not really a bad beat, because thats just one of the outcomes the hand can bring, because it was a pre flop all in.

  • LOL. That hand was all kinds of ridiculous. Buffoon foreigner calling big RR AI w/o decent odds w/ T hi. Bobby pissed preflop when sees his hand (with his chipstack he shoulda been happy). Then thinking he has it iced on the turn momentarily, and finally the river. Brutality. I love it.

  • loose call god runne runner

  • calling an all in with 910, what a donkey!

  • I think that Bellande guy is an annoying ass but that bad beat was just wrong.

  • that´s a bad beat man

  • i hate suckers who call all in with 9 10 off!!god...

  • sometimes you should call with 9 10 if the raise isnt too big but that one was mathematicly wrong. the pot was 28 and robert pushes with about 60 more. He could be up against a big pair, so he should fold. Then again, it's 37% chance to win. So its a bad beat but not that big of a bad beat (and yes, he hit a runner runner, but the money went in before, so you take that moment)

  • he was getting the right odss to call, 38% of the money... Do the math 174500 was the whole pot and he call 66500... and before the flop they were 63-37

  • I'm speechless at that runner runner.

  • ouch! unlucky bellande! loving the premature celebration though, he kinda jinxed himself!

  • hahaha It's so funny to watch phil take a beat XD
