  • It's all about the money the slaughter house pays for these retired show horses so the owner figures well this horse isn't makin me any money anymore and I can sell it to slaughter woohoo more money for me we need to make slaughter illegal it happens everywhere and everyday every state every city so cmon help!!!!

  • Sure If I was a horse racing wouldn't be my first choice even If some are treated with royalty but some people don't understand most of the retired racehorses and show horses get sent to the slaughter house so the owners can make a few final bucks of em it's sad that for some it's all about the money not how hard the horse worked for you and how much money he made for you and you can't even give them a good ending?!?! How sad!!! These people have mo respect for these animals it's all about the

  • Some people have no idea about horse racing.

The "it's cruel" brigade have no understanding of whips, and the way horses are treated.

Horses die at pony club, horses die at the Olympics, horses die eventing, horses die at gymkana's.

    Horses die.

A horse feels a whip like you feel a fly on you. The whip has a flat leather end designed to make a cracking sound.

A horse is a flight animal, it hears the crack and feels it brushing against his hide.

He runs faster, because of flight response.

    End of.

  • @DrDance2323 THANK YOU. Spread the word, brother. We must stop the idiotic stereotypes of racing.

  • Woops silly Jockey xD

Whips don't hurt as much as you'd think, a friend who had a proper racing whip whipped the hell outta me one day with it, right across my backside and I got ready for the worst remembering being hit with normal crops, didn't hurt at all, sure it will hurt if used enough like anything would, but that is why they have rules for the amount of times you can use them (yes I know people still do it anyway) racehorses are mostly treated like kings, but some aren't, minority cases

  • horse: OMG WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS JOCKEY

jockey: oh i though that was the finish line

me: hilarious poor horse wanted to finish at the right time darn it! LOL

  • That poor jockey probably thought he had the next Secretariat.

  • Shocked! ! The most incredible secrets of horse race betting site:ree.nn.cx

  • Poor horse gave it his all, for nothing. Dumbass jockey. Did you notice him celebrating, making an ass of himself when he thought he smoked everyone for a win? Pooooor dude.

  • what beautiful animals!

  • 1:44 what a miserable guy, he raises his right hand as a winner.

  • besthorsetips.webs.com

  • To Andrea901016: Cool down, you have no clue about racing. The horse does not get hit hard whit the whip, it just looks that way. The rule is that you can not hit the horse, you must stop the whip before, so just a lash is the result.

Learn something about racing before you open your mouth stupid.

  • @FNordeo sorry to but in uninvited, but im totally on your side! i know someone who has a massive go at me for liking a 'cruel' sport every time she see's me, when she doesn't even know what a furlong is, yeah she rides and knows stuff about horses but when it comes to racing she knows nothing, and thats why she does not have the right to say somethings cruel when she does not even know the basics about it

  • @alliegirljls13194 That's the typical response from a racing fan. That those who think it's cruel must know nothing about it. All I need to know is that it kills hundreds of horses every year in the UK. That two-year-olds are raced when they haven't even developed properly. That sending them hurtling over perilous obstacles from a gallop is a recipe for disaster. That jockeys get away with just slapped wrists for horse abuse. Racing is about the cruelest 'sport' on the planet!

  • Obviously the jockey knew where the finishing line was, the problem was he didn´t realize he had a little further to continue riding finish.. Like another lap or so.. :-))

  • that jockey fails

  • Bless his heart bet the owner wasn't to Happy:)

  • hahahahha

  • I bet that jockey could just kick himself

  • The commentator is shit

  • lol fast horse useless jockey

  • I would like to see how he would like the get whipped like that when his already going the fastest he can! This is why I hate all horse gambling sports, no respects for the animals, they just see the money and nothing else, disgusting!

  • @Andrea901016 no respect? do you know anything about horse racing besides the propaganda PETA puts out? Race horses are treated well, esp as of late. the sport has really changed. The industry has been called accountable and it is. There are bad seeds in every sport. you cant judge us all based on a few. Thoroughbreds are bred for this, and they are treated great. 24/7 access to feed, stall, vet care, pro trainers, personal grooms, ect. at least google something before you comment.

  • @craisydazy18 Well Said!!:)

  • @craisydazy18 suck my hoofs

  • @Andrea901016 Well Andrea....these animals would not even have been born if not for the gambling. They get fed and loved and have great sleeping quarters. Then they get to screw all they want. All for a couple whips to the neck a few times a year? Sign me up.

  • @boz987 And really, those whips are designed just to make noise if used correctly. They don't hurt the horse.

  • @Andrea901016 stupid. what do you know about horse racing. shut up and learn something before writing bullsh*t on the internet.

  • Andrea90106 go to a barn with race horses and look at them then tell us what you saw and tell us the answers to the questions you asked

  • Douchebag has the nerve to whip the horse after HE screwed up??????

  • @Dmode1001 it is illeagal to do that you know

  • jockey on drugs

  • dude i was at that race

  • Want to make £100,000 from horse racing? Check my video Horse Racing - £100,000 per year

  • lol that musta been soo embarasin, i think i would sit in a corner and cry from embarasment, thats like, 1,000's of $ out the window for the horses owner

  • go 8

  • Shit race mannn

  • Pity about the awful commentator.

  • If I was that trainer.. i'd NEVER use that jockey again lol

  • the horse is awesome, too bad that this jokey didn't know where the finish line was:D

  • That jockey will be fired

  • haha the way he pushed the horse it couldve had a 25 length lead around the last paddock turn...it took them half a mile to catch him trotting !!

  • Haha the horse is probly smarter than him.

  • About slaughter -- you'd be surprised how many thousands of Thoroughbreds land on feed lots bound for slaughter in Mexico or Canada (no slaughterhouses in USA right now). From good care for 3 - 7 years and Whammo! out in the cold, no problem. It is a mystery to me how owners who treat horses very well can just dump them when they are done with them. I own two of these so don't anybody think I'm incorrect about this.

  • @codsteb Uhm you are incorrect. About 9 out of every 10 owners do not send their horse to the slaughter house when it retires. The owners love their horses more than anything. So yeahh

  • epic fail

  • wtfuck am i looking for here

  • ...but I do think that they shouldn't train the horses at 1. I have alot of respect for the trainers that actually wait until there older and there joints are developed to race them.

  • These horses are in GIANT stalls, with there own paddocks, with free access to, they are fed three times a day the best feed you can buy, and groomed where you probably couldn't find dirt anywhere on them. Jockey's don't beat the horses with whips, they "tap" them. No trainer is going to hire a jock like that. If a trainer is caught drugging there horses or sending them to slaughter or abusing them, there license are removed, and there banned pernamently . So why are you calling the sport cruel?

  • @Texluver other breeders, buyers or trainers who give the horse a second chance, these horses are investments, they're not GIVEN to slaughter houses! And the dog racing, it's irrelevant to this subject. Also, the ones that do break down on the track are usually operated on to try and help, if there's no hope then they're HUMANELY euthanized and buried honorably. p.s. what does your user name mean? Texas lover? cause that's where the last illegal horse slaughter house is in the United States.

  • @Texluver Good lord, you don't know anything about the industry of horse racing do you? no you don't. Those horses were born to run, it's in their blood and they LOVE it, not only that, they are also treated like royalty. Off the track race horses are NOT sold to slaughter houses, they are retired and bred if they ran well or have good bloodlines, if they aren't the best runners, they are sold for a lot of money to

  • looks like a really fast horse, unfortunately the jockey didnt know what he was doing :/ lol

  • hahahaha what a jackass

  • wow blown lol

  • I saw Cash Asmussen do this as an apprentice at Aqueduct-late 70s. Either mile 1/2 or 2 mile race at BigA..he was slightly embrassed...

  • Wow, I bet that jockey got fired

  • nice vid

  • I beleive in whipping.horses need it to togte the best out of them.if i dont see a jockey use the whip hes no good.ugotta whip them hard.

  • they should race them but not wip them hard

and if a horse goes down they should heal it before they put the poor horse down!

  • Seriously guys, whipping a horse is telling those back legs to pick up the pace. Also Thoroughbreds are a competitive breed, they were made to run. All of you people who say its abuse should really look up the facts.

  • @mshobohorse LOL whipping isnt the abuse its running the shit out of them and then sending them to slaughter when they cant run anymore, same with greyhounds, except dogs are alot easier to care for then a horse. Im not talking about the pretty horses you see racing on tv in the expensive races im talking about the rest of the horses who arent "good enough" to make it, they dont become pets, they become food some times for minor injuries like a bowed tendon that can be fixed with time

  • stop hores racing, its stressful on them whats next horse slaughter?? it hurts them when the jockey hits them in the back to make them go faster.

  • @normalguyable really? omg, you're so ignorant. first off, horses' skin is very thick. its not like whipping us. they do not feel it any where near where we do - its not pain to them, its a consistant reminder. however, to stop what might be too much whipping, there are rules. there are rules and regulations to ensure jockey and horse safety. so shut up. you don't know enough about horse racing and horses to make a judgement on it.

  • @magnetxxella let me guess you want horses laughter too? you peopel think these intelligent animals feel no pain? all yoi carea bout is making money in this perverted sport you could care less the safety of these horses? most of them will end up in belgium being eaten after you are done using and abusing them!!

  • @normalguyable before i begin, let me correct a few things so i can actually read it: "let me guess you want horses'* laughter too? you people* think these intelligent animals feel no pain? all you* care* about* is making money in this perverted sport you couldn't* care less the safety of these horses? most of them will end up in Belgium* being eaten after you are done using and abusing them!!" well first off, i'm a fifteen year old girl, so no, I don't care about making money.

  • @normalguyable two. THATS WHAT STEWARDS AND REGULATIONS AND RULES ARE FOR YOU FUCKWIT.

  • They use horses as a fucky arabic toys. Nasty people.

  • I disagree that racing is abuse. Horses do love to run, but the life style of a racehorse is far from ideal! The live in a stall never getting turnout or a way to relax. They live in a stressful environment but they are fine. I think it is wrong to race such young horses. They are racing 2 year olds which means that they are in training before they are 2. It doesnt matter what the breed is, a horse is not developed enough to handle the pressure racing puts on them. Hence so many injuries.

  • The Final Race at Greenwood Racetrack in Toronto Ont had something similar go down. I had the winner Houston Ryder? paid around $19 or so for the win. I had a $3 win ticket that I was going to keep, but being 16 and broke with a party to go to I cashed it. He was far back. The race was 1 and3/4 of a mile, on the 6 furlong track ,meant passing the grandstand 3 times. On the 2nd pass of the finish line a few of the jockey's pulled up which allowed winner made up the 20 lengths or so disadvantage

  • tiz a coup, very apt name

  • Listening to an American call a horse race is like listening to an old lady sing Justin Bieber songs after she's lost her voice and forgotten the words.

  • I've seen that in NY a few times. The one that comes to mind was the late Eric Beteia. I guess a jockey is so used to slowing at the finish line and there aren't too many races more than one time around that it is excuseable. He probably couldn't believe he won by so much before realizing it. I even heard former NY racecaller Marshall Cassidy call the finish of a race the first time around!!

  • why dont they just call the horses by their number.

  • Ok i have worked in the industry and i can tell you there is equall good and bad, Yes some horses love there job, yes they get wounderful food and depending on trainers good treatment and others don't. There are horses that hate there job and owners and trainers forse them to run. There is abuse in any endever pople have horses in . SO some get food treatmet and others don't but not all horses are abused and meny are not good at anything other then running . So there is good and bad.

  • Lol. I bet the owner was pissed.

  • There born to roam around. Not to entertain.

  • you SEE that He was like hewl with YOU guys!! * ROCKETS OFF* YEAHHHH!!!

  • @MeticulousMary they dont have a constant life of training. most racehorse retire at the age of seven or eight giving them a full long race free life. and if you knew anything about horses, youd know that, race horse or not, horses must be exercised DAILY. you have to keep your horse fit and trim or else they get fat. and these horses DO WANT to run. at a race a jockey fell off his mount at the starting gate but the horse ran with strategy and won the race. go look it up i cant remeber the name.

  • @MeticulousMary you CANNOT make a THOROUGHBRED or ANY horse to do ANYTHING they don't want to. It's a 1200 pound horse versus a mere human, who do YOU think is stronger?

  • Ya, they run their hearts out and if it isn't good enough they are sent to slaughter. Ya, quite a life, huh? The whip is the least of their worries.

  • @McKimba44 not all horses are sent to the slaughter. the majority are sold to be retrained as rides for mentally handicapped, barrel racers, and pleasure horses. the people who dont care about their animals sell to the slaughter. dont blame the stupidity of some idiots ,on the whole racing industry.

  • @McKimba44 I own a thoroughbred that was a racehorse. My friend had 8 all ex racehorses.

  • @MeticulousMary in some cases that is true but we just recently purchased an off the track horse called midnight's run and have found out that we cannot free lunge her because she will run herself for hours and then be useless the rest of the day! i am trying to turn her into a hunter jumper but first i have to teach her that she has more gears than stopped and full speed ahead. she loves to run and i have to hold her head constantly when riding her so you cant say race horses don't like to run.

  • So if they love to run - let them run.

Don't BEAT them to get them to run faster.

    THAT IS NOT SPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that jokey is gonna get it

and that commentator needs to be more inthusiastic

  • you're fired

  • If you have a good system & you can keep your discipline when the inevitable losing run happens then, you can make a long term profit from your betting & this includes horse racing !!

  • Carolina's race.

  • Who the fuck names these horses whoever does should be shot. Tiz a coupe? No tiz a horse dumbfuck.

  • the reason a horse doesnt stop and throw the rider off is because the horse probably doesnt realize hes actually stronger than the rider...hes just doing what he's learned. i dont like seeing them get smacked with a crop or whatever that dude was doing but yeah other than that....

  • @Mavedalicious actually the reason the horse doesn't stop and throw his rider is cause he doesn't care. and the crop doesn't hurt the horse it's really more of a 'hey buddy you're slowing up a bit lets get to it' kinda like someone poking you from behind in class while your dozing off during a lecture.i don't raise race horses but as i've mentioned on this thred i own a off the track mare and it takes forever to get her to notice im there and slow down when we go for our warmup in the arena

  • @LittleMustangMare i was thinking it was more of the reason they dont stop is cuz its just what theyve ben brought up and getting used to.

  • @Mavedalicious in some cases yes but most

TB's love to run its bred into them though they do learn that they get rewards when they stay in the front of the pack

  • all u dikheads that think u now horse racing man go reads books go do some home work horse racing in far from abuse to horse as i should now i train them my self horse are better cared for then family my own girlfriend and any other humans out there they are made to run abuse to horse are leaving them out in a paddock gettin lock feet gettin to fat to walk and begin skin bone these horse are abused.. race horse neva so all u animals rights people go get a fukin real job

  • Horse didn't even show did he? Oh well gonna happen. i would be shocked to see Velasquez do that. Shocked and also swearing while I tore my ticket up.

  • stupid americans

  • When Michael Vic hung his loosing pit-bulls we were all appalled. Kentucky Derby winners go to slaughter and no one seems to care. What's so great about being locked in a stall proportionately the size of your bathroom. If you can't leave when you want to it's a jail, not a cozy bedroom. Horses that are given a choice choose to be outside. It's natural for them. Even more natural than running. These horses are routinely run before their joint are done forming (5 years old)....

  • In my opinion ... horses love to run and these horses are out every day running, eating the best food, living in the best conditions, otherwise they wouldnt win races... comercialisation brings about the best treatment, these owners and traineres run a business so the horses have to be looked after to make money. although when they do have to run, which is usaully only once a month, we don't know how much the whip actually hurts, so it could be cruel, although it's rare you see excessive whippin

  • @chr1sred

    not all the time

  • letting a horse run is not an abuse..its a treat for them..on the other side if someone tie them with a pole with grass and water thats abuse..

  • needless to say i don't think that jockey got any more mounts from that trainer/owner LOL

  • I like horses. But I don't like stupid people owning horses with money from the fucky oil. The oil generates deaths in British army. Last time was under Tony Blair's order in Iraq.

  • Dumb joc, what one time around and he thinks he won not! I would'nt want him riding my horses! What a fish bate of a joc

  • Know something funny I was workin that day, I used to "pony" the horses to the gate...

  • waait... what is funny? i dont get it. what happend??

  • Oh my gosh that is so funny! Something tells me he wasnt called to ride that horse again.

  • All those fucked up talking abt animal abuse. What do u no abt animals?

The domestic horses r way better fed dan the wild horses, they have good shelter ,medical care and everything that fame and money can procure. They just have to run and they enjoy it.Shut the fuck up.If i cnt afford having a pet.

  • @hansfucki obviously they know more than you, how would you like to stay in a box thats barely big enough for you to turn around in, only to be taken out and run so hard you can barely catch your breath only to be hosed down tied to an electric walker to walk in circles for a while, then your back to your box. If you hurt yourself your either given away or sold to a slaughter house to have your throat slit because your owner can get some $ instead of paying for the treatment (cant run anymore)

  • @hansfucki they don't have to run if a horse don't wanna run it's fucking tell you that it don't by throwing you off and kicking you in the face horse's won't fuck about and in-fact horse's race in the wild to judge who is the leader of the pack

  • @Sindri44 the horses that run in races love to run.

  • I remember a certain Irish jockey do the same thing on the all-weather in England a few years ago although the rumor is that it was intentional because he wanted a ban to 'spend' his accumulated points under the totting up system in England, therefore having his 'holiday' during the winter months and leaving himself on a clean slate for the coming season.

  • Funny. I remember Eddie Ehern do the same thing on the all-weather in England a few years back although the rumour is it was intentional because he wanted his suspension over the winter due to the 'totting up' system for bans.

  • God created man in order for him to dominate over all the animals..:)

  • @7199715 straight from the Bible baby :D

  • @futurejockey8 :) i guest that you know your bible well :O

  • @7199715 it's early in Genesis :D

  • FAKE!

  • I have seen this on nearly EVERY horse racing video. So I'm gonna address this animal cruelty bullshit right now. Fuck off! If you don't like it then gtfo. Problem solved

  • EACH WAY WIN BET-7:00 Thirsk LIZZIE PRICE 14-1

  • Well actually racing its self is not abuse, the horses love to run!Plus the racers are spoiled they have a dream life! But the part that is abusive about this career is that the horses are started on the track at three years old.At this age they are still developing and by the time the horse is about 7 years old it cant race, and if its not a really famous horse it is sold to a slaughter house.

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing Horses are started before most of them are chronologically two years old. It can be a "dream" life as far as food and care but there time is never their own, they're awakened at 4am, hooked to a bungie by their halter on the back wall of their stall, groomed, tacked up,sent out to the track, exercised, bathed, they walk for 30-90 minutes depending on what they did, put back in their stall, their legs are rubbed and wrapped, feet cleaned and packed with mud, groomed again and ...

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing Most are started before their second birthday because the owners overbreed or buy and want payback on their investment as soon as possible. It may seem like a "dream" life but their time is never their own, up at 4am,put on the wall, groomed, tacked, sent out to exercise, bathed, walked 30-90mins doe,put back on the wall.legs and feet, groomed again, turned loose to eat at 11, if not racing they may get a couple of hours before dinner at 4.If racing, they stand in ice for 1-2hrs.

  • @SophiaThePumpkinKing Agreed, but they are actually broken at 1 and begin racing at 18 months-2 years, which is total bull crap if you know anything about the basics of developing horse anatomy. :)

  • the announcer sounds so.... bored

  • i'm really getting tired of the people who believe horse racing is abuse. EVERY SPORT IN THE WORLD HAS ITS RISKS. HORSE RACING IS NOT DIFFERENT. Its poses just as much risk as say basketball or track as well as any other equestrian activity. These horses are specifically bred for these types of events. They're doing what they were born to do. You dont see shetland ponies competing against grand prix show jumpers do you? no...because they werent bred for that.

  • @ffalcons102 Only horses can't choose whether or not they want to race. If Kobe Bryant decided he no longer wanted to play basketball, he could stop. If Fade-to-Blue decides he no longer wants to race he can't. See the difference?

  • @MrEM4N a racehorse weighs roughly 1500 pounds...give or take. a jockey weighs 126 or less. i'm pretty sure if the horse didnt want to race or run, all they would have to do is kick their jockey off...its not like it would be that diffcult for them. if a horse truly doesnt want to race, he will show it by his attitude and performance.

  • @ffalcons102 I don't know what kind of horses you have but I have Thoroughbreds and they seldom weigh more than 1200 lbs. when racing and are usually closer to a thousand. My very well-fed broodmare weighed 1250 when she was last in foal and gave birth to a very large, healthy foal. And any jockey I know that weighs 126lbs is retired or an exercise rider. These days most jockeys weigh between 112 and 116lbs. They have tried to convince trainers that body weight is safer than lead but not yet.

  • @MrEM4N uhm yeah he can... if he doesnt want to he doesn have to ... horses refuse and can stop dead in their tracks and throw the rider.... u can tell if i ahorse in unhappy.

  • @ffalcons102 I don't think it's the racing that some people see as abuse.

I think it's more of the fact that with this type of sport where gambling is involved there is always a posibilty that some trainers and owners could see the sport only as a business and therefore animals could get exploited for their racing ability while they have it but then terminated when they're too old to race. That's all.

  • @ffalcons102 That's the point. People who participate in track and basketball do so of their own free will. These horses are bred to go run really fast for a very short period of time in their lives. Then they break their legs and have to get put down, then they get made into Japanese pet food. What a life.

  • @wizmonkey98 what about horse jumping? do you know how hard it is on the front feet? horses are bred for that. they are expected to jump fences 8 feet high. i think making them run a mile really isnt that bad. *NOTE* i love horse jumping i just thought id mention that. i dont think its cruel and i certainly dont think horse racing is.

  • @JockeyGirlLuvsHorses umm is my username "jumpinglover". Yeah I don't believe I was advocating for that either. And on my eq team our fences are like 3 feet at the highest.

  • @wizmonkey98 ummm did i say your name was "jumpinglover"? no. i was simply giving another example of a horse sport that has its risks. and um...yay for your eq team? im talking about like profesional horse shows.

  • @JockeyGirlLuvsHorses Duh. My point is that professional horse shows are uneccesarily dangerous and we should stick to activities of a lower intensity to reduce possibility of death. That seems perferctly reasonable

  • well let me shoot you down here..First off..you say every sport in the world has its risk...like baseball and track...and you are correct...but baseball and track don't put animals at risk that didn't really have a choice as to whether or not they want to take that risk..Second you say its ok cause they are bred for this purpose..lets say im your dad and i decide im gonna bred you specifically to test experimental bullet proof vest..is that ok..its what i bred you for so..your points are invalid

  • @pugs2300 Thank you

  • @pugs2300 They love to run! They want to run! Racing has the same risk as show jumping, roping, barrel racing, pole bending etc! Everything has its risk! what about greyhound racing!? Thats dangerous! And a good jockey that wouldnt wanna lose his job or a horse would be able to tell if something was wrong with the horse during the race!

  • @ffalcons102 yeah except I don't get euthanized when I break my leg jumping hurdles.

  • @ffalcons102 Yeah but they get thrown away after they are no good, or their legs give out.. Ive seen SOO many horses come from the race track and go as meat in the auction.

Dont get me wrong, I know that isnt the situation for all the race horses.. they can be re-trained..but alot of them do have leg problems down the road.

  • @ffalcons102 accually u fucking idiot. they give them steroids, wich make there muscles bigger.. to make them look stronger BUT ACCUALLY it makes there legs weaker.. because there so thin and then accidents happen where they break there legs.. SO YES... IT IS ANIMAL ABUSE. SO STFU AND STOP BEING SO HEARTLESS TO THESE ANIMALS.

  • @jarelproductions oh god. firstly, learn how to type and spell you fucking hairless prick. its people like you that i really just want to beat the shit out of. secondly, not every fucking trainer in the racing world uses steroids on their horses. learn your facts before you go off at someone you dumbass. they do the exact same things to horses in horseracing as they do to horses every other equestrian sport.

  • @jarelproductions so if you're going to bash horse racing, you fucking go right ahead and start bashing cross country, eventing, show jumping, dressage, driving, rodeo, and any other equestrian event you can think of because if you are seriously naive enough to think that they dont do to the horses in those sports that they do the horses in these sports then you are by far the most ignorant fuck on the face of the planet. horse racing poses just as much risk as any other equstrian sport.

  • @jarelproductions accept that fact and get over it.

  • @ffalcons102 no u fucken idiot.. dont tell me wat to do...leavin stupid comments on my channel..fuck u

  • @jarelproductions umm i definitely never commented on your channel you dumb shit. i simply replied to your comment on this video. and again, learn how to spell. you're just further embarassing yourself.

  • @ffalcons102 why do people say its abuse 1. it only running 2. most horses love to run and 3. your right thats what there bred for

  • @ffalcons102

they call it abuse because the horses in races get injected with all sorts of enhancing drugs.

it's not the race that's abuse, it's the preparations that are unacceptable

  • @xxBlackVeilBridexx no they fucking dont and if they do trainer gets suspended they get tested b4 every race dont bring that shit up

  • @H0ck3ykid12 yes they do hahaha

my dad is in the buisness.

he and a few other teams are some of the only ones that don't inject their horses.

sorry but my father might know a bit more than you do, considering he's in the business :)

  • @H0ck3ykid12

by the way, i don't know who you think you are commenting on videos about horses.

I doubt you know anything about them.

Also, your videos of burning things prove nothing of your intelligence, but more of your immaturity

  • @ffalcons102 I think what upsets people the most is the "retirement" of a number of these horses. Most of them if they're not used for breeding, end up on a plate in Europe. I believe that is cause for great concern for the future of these amazing horses who have given so much. They should be rewarded for that gift they gave us, not slaughtered for consumption because they are no longer of value.

  • @ffalcons102 every sport in the world has its risks. true. BUT if we humans want to get hurt, accepting these risks, i dont care cause its something WE wanted.

I care if we involve animals, i care if we put them in danger without their consense. this is abuse. this is make them do something dangerous without them to know it. how you mean this?

(oh, if you re a person who doesnt care nothing about animals then i may get your point of view. But I stay in mine, cos I put animals at first place

  • @Shevina where in my above comment did i ever state that i dont care about animals? i didnt. i love animals, especially horses. i've been around horses my entire life. the jockeys involved in these races are in just as much danger as the horses, perhaps even more. and if you believe horse racing is "abuse" then you go right ahead and think the same about show jumping, dressage, and any other equestrian event because the exact same "abuse" involved in horse racing is involved in those sports too

  • @ffalcons102 Ok, i didnt say you stated you dont care about animals, I just supposed it could be.

Anyway, its true, other equestrian sports may be dangerous too.

But races are much more dangerous, i think.

I saw Prescott Dawns race, Arizona, (on TV) where two horses were killed. Pacific Wind was running the wrong way and collided head-on at full speed with Lot O Love. I was shocked. Really.

I know it doesnt happen everyday, but that has been enought. to me.

  • @Shevina Firstly, its wrong of you to just assume things. Just thought I'd point that out. Secondly, horse racing doesnt pose any more danger than any other equestrian discipline. That accident you saw at Prescott can happen at ANY event that involves horses- a horse spooks and collides with something or someone. Its part of working with large animals in ANY matter- accidents are going to happen. Horses go through the same amount of physical labors in racing as they do in any other event.

  • I'm NOT a fan of horseracing, but even if the race had been a mile, did you see the length the leader had? 15 lengths is an amazing feat!

  • @SakuraHaruno57 yeah thats because no body else was running.......look up secreterit in the belmont if you want to see a real amazing feat

  • annually 300 horses die from the racing industry in england. yes they enjoy to run and gallop but when your at a full out gallop for 4 and a half mile as with the grandnational and are dying from exaustion or needing oxygen to revive them. many horses do not make the grade and are not fast enough these are also destroyed. i dont think racing needs to be banned just a rethink of the rules.

  • Yes the horse faces risks, but in the world of the horse these are the movie stars and the footballers, while the ones in the fields are like me and you. Which would you rather be?

  • Oh my god Oh my god this is disgusting! Absolutely disgusting! This is animal abuse at it's worst! This is awful! Their riding the horses...their actually RIDING horses! Oh my god Oh my god!! Disgraceful!

  • @DareYouNotToClick1 soory i accidently gave you a thumbs down lol!

  • surprising!

    the horse deserves five stars
