dude i accept wat u said iz rite... i a way... like a simple person dies no one iz dere for him.. but when a popular person dies dere r a lot of people.... but u have to accept he waz not only a entertainer... but he was alwaz a gr8 person... and he alwaz wanted peace in dis world..and he alwaz helped da orphans and poor people... gave alot of charity... he is da best..MJ RIP
i think everyone is full of shit....michael is dead and they r makin it a big ol' deal...wen he was allive not alot of ppl bought his stuff well maybe alot did but not like they have been doin lately....like selling out...u kno wut i mean? ppl r jus money hungry bcuz they found out michaels stuff is worth millions so they go out and buy his records to get rich quick...they shud jus let him rest in peace already
yea thats true everyobody is making a big deal out of michael jackson...i mean he was the "king of pop" but the guy is dead jus leave him rest in peace u kno?? wen he wasnt dead alot of ppl didnt buy his cd's and stuff and now that they seen his stuff is worth millions they wanna go and buy his stuff....ppl r jus money hungry thats what i think
for me, the celebs i look up to i don't look up to because they're famous or whatnot, i look up to them because they inspire me. like michael jackson was one of my influence to go into music. but i understand what yo u mean, and i agree.
well, I agree with you and I find it a bit annoying and unfair that someone who was born with a good voice, a strong body, or a nice face can get soooo much world wide attention. Like, people care much more about the death of a pop-star than they would about the death of someone who actually worked hard to help others. Not to disrespect anyone in the entertainment industry, its just that our society values entertainment higher than almost anything else. we need to get our priorities straight imo
(imo)It seems to me that your making the assumption that people should value everyone equally, or that there shouldn't be such a gap in value. I consider this to be false, value is derived from x's ability to fulfill y's desires. If X fulfills more desires better then W then X will, and logically should, be valued more. Value is determined by Y 's desires and the ability of X to fulfill them. The gap is always justified. As for the validity of the desires, all desire is ultimately arbitrary.
Ok i understand what you are saying and I agree because it is human nature, but I still think it is not fair how some people can be worth nothing to others. That is why I am questioning it.
thank you for the comment that really had to make me think for a while.
it's just that it's such a shocker to all of us. it's like... Michael Jackson... dead?.... Like right before he was going to start going on tour too. He was trying to make his way back up. It's just really sad to see the King of Pop just die. He was soo talented. His voice, style, and dance moves. No one can replace Michael Jackson. And yes... people do make a big deal about artists and famous people but that's because (unfortunately) the world revolves around the media.
well I do think it is very sad that he was gonna make a come back... and people did give him a hard time when it totally was unfair. But I honestly am not that bummed about it....
and yes our world revolves around the media. that is so true.
