Thanks dude. I tried the YSMenu tutorials on GBAtemp, it took me one year and as of today it still didn't work. My brother has a original R4 so R4 Wood works for him. I always play with his R4 up until this week he was acting like a bitch and stop giving it to me because he wants to play Golden Sun. I was very angry and did the YSMenu tutorial like 7 times and still didn't work. 'till I found your video and copied all the files to my SD card ;)

Okay, here's the problem:

When I use the akaio 1.8.1 to play pokemon black/white patched, it works fine up untill the part after the professor introduces the friend, then the screen goes black and freezes.

On the YSMenu kernels, the game is unplayably slow. It boots fine, but when it gets to the professor intro, it moves at like 1/10th of the normal speed. Is there something I can do to fix this slowlyness? :/

UPDATE: For everyone who are still having problems, there is a new Acekard 2 firmware available for R4 Ultra, which can be found at R4 Ultra's site. This firmware fixes many bugs and themes are much easier to change. Bottom line, it's a much better firmware and may solve some problems.

*sigh* Everything works just fine, except for the saving. It says it saves, but once I restart my DS, the save is gone and I have to start all over. Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to try reformatting my SD card and see if that fixes it, otherwise I'm probably going to be pretty disappointed.

OK, to guys who have issues, make sure you completely clear your microsd before starting the steps. It initially didnt work because i did not remove the r4ultras previous firmware. After i reformatted my SD (after backing up my games and saves because formatting wipes everything) it works great.

there is one problem with this kernel..it saves but it takes a longer time to do it. sometimes, while saving it fails to save( i have yet to experience this on kh:recoded)
