Lauren Zettler & Ingrid Michaelson are both extremely talented but just because they play a similar style of music doesn't mean Lauren "totally stole Ingrid Michaelson's whole style".And it's pretty ridiculous to use the fact that lauren wears glasses as a reason that she's copying Ingrid,she can't help that she needs glasses.And in response to FiishStudios,no offense to Ingrid but she didn't invent indie. And Lauren has "strong female vocals" because she's a female,how is that copying ingrid?..
I was NOT making a generalization. She has the physical appearance of Ingrid (glasses and all in some videos), and she plays in a style very similar to Ingrid. She ofter uses some of the same phrases, in her lyrics. She's very good, but she doesn't seem as unique as she could be. I'd like to see more Lauren.
WOW....all I keep thinking as I'm listening is, Wow. You're really gifted. I'm sure there are discouraging moments (though they can feel like eras) as you try to navigate the music business, but have no doubt that you are a talented writer and singer.
