And did you not hear what Kat said? Remember she planned this based on the same slipspace accident that killed a bunch of people. And remember, his slipspace was in the trajectory of the Covenant capital ship, so he hit the ship when he went slipspace, so basically a bunch of debris is left of the ship after it exits slipspace.

And him being on Halo 4? LOL thats just as ridiculous as the claims that MC was landing on Reach at the end of 3 ROFL

Which accelerates objects faster than light. The problem is the ship went right through another ship when it jumped, causing the capital ship to be destroyed, so what when into slipspace is a bunch of debris of Jorge's ship. Like they said in the novel First Strike, jumping blindly is dangerous without proper navigation because if a star, asteroid or a large enough debris were in our trajectory, we'll end up as faster than light little particles of dust.

The slipspace drive wasn't exactly properly mounted. If anything, if the ship is intact, Jorge would have no way of getting the ship out of the slipstream.

Actually guys remember, the slipspace drive wasn't mounted properly (wasn't mounted at all when brought aboard the Covenant ship), so when it when into the slipstream, since it wasn't mounted ON the ship, it sucked the ship presumably violently into the slipspace into pieces, so whats in slipstream is mostly likely debris, which is the idea behind Jorge dying from use. This is evidenced in Halo 2 when the slipstream took parts of the city and the idea that Kat implied.

This was a pretty epic scene though, and I love this game... however I was a tad disappointed with the ending though, I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic... like noble six turned out to be master chief or something...

If you look at Noble six's back during this mission, there is a special jet-pack thing which says "re-entry unit". so obviously this is what he used to land back on Reach alive.

Slipspace Rupture Detected means Covenant have come in orbit with 40 ships through each rupture. They came through slipspace and she said that like, 800 times which means that 32,000 ships are coming. Jorge, dies just do destroy ONE. Thats a reason we lost Reach in the war.

@lordzyilo You got it right. I gave 98 out of 100 to Halo 1 campaing, I give 97 out of 100 to Reach campaing... I really cant say how good Reach campaing was. It was so... despressing. You saw everyone die, everytime when you thought it was a win like in this blowing ship... Then you find out that whole fleet is here and know how that one ship and death of Jorge was same as nothing... This really made you feel the moment of win turning to despressing fight against enemy which you cant win...

@lupulrox You are wrong. With that slipspace they had coordinates and everything. Chiefs end of the ship didnt make it through the portal before it collapsed and Arbiters went through. Jorge just had a slipspace bomb. Correct me if im wrong but i think they made those as weapons not transporting. With no coordinates it just poofed into a billion pieces.

It's quite a powerful scene. First you have Jorge, and his noble sacrifice, after which you realise it's all in vain as multiple slipspace ruptures occur al over the place. The music, auntie dot's alerts and the sight of numerous covenant craft is quite intense.
