  • yes but does it works with out an amp or pick up?

  • not artwood -_- exotic wood

  • Trippin out duuuuuuuuude

  • cool bro...firts time that i watch something like these

  • I'm not real familiar with ebows... but I'm very impressed with the sounds here. Nice playing!

  • love the jam!

  • EBOWS SUCK!!!

  • @jman99110 YOU suck.

  • great sounds, so thanks for the advices : i'll try it on my accoustic bass - just ordered one, can't wait much longer!

  • That is fantastic.

  • Thanks man. You rock.

  • Ahhhh I have that guitar! I love it, it's a great guitar<3

  • Stupid question:

that works if the guitar is not amplified? Just with pure acoustic.

  • @caralhosvosfodam It works without amplification or a pickup

  • @TheChocorooms Do you have any vid samples of that?

  • @caralhosvosfodam watch?v=RGV3oMyjz04

  • I'm thinking about getting one since I saw Sungha Jung use it xD but how much is one? =|

And how can you tell the difference of your guitar strings if their steel strings or not? Awesome vid btw, didn't expect sucha sound.

  • @suzsnooze this one I paid a little over $100. If your acoustic is a classical (nylon) this will not work at all.

  • @suzsnooze 133$

  • wonderful! Sounds excellent! great post and great playing!

  • Sounds great man. I just picked up an Ebow for Metal stuff, but gave it a shot on my roommates Taylor. I was impressed. Sounded excellent.

  • Wow, I didn't expect such a cool sound

  • Something I don't get here. Isn't the ebow supposed to be used very near the pick up? I don't see one anywhere near the ebow.

Also, does anyone know if the ebow works (to its full extent) with the Taylor Expression sytem?

  • That's what makes it a little tricky with an acoustic guitar, instead of using the pickup magnet with the ebow to drive the string, you have to drive the string with a combination of a very subtle hammer on and the ebow

  • This sounds awesome. Very haunting sound. Say, what more can the ebow PLUS do?

  • I attempted this a while back on my acoustic, I could only get a few of the sound the demonstrator gets here. (he is pretty good). I was disappointed and ultimately traded it back and got an Ernie Ball mono volume pedal!!

Add some echo and delay sounds like a pretty sick bowed instrument. I prefer it over the sound to that of the E-bow.

  • Yes, I agree the sounds of volume swells are pretty cool. I do like the harmonic variances that you get with an ebow. They are really a few different tools!

  • i heard u have to have steel strings, is that true?

  • Yes, you have to use steel strings.
