  • House Of Cads, by Mark D. Cohen is well worth reading if you like this video.

  • don't have time to watch all your videos today. do you go into the fact that a monstrous amount of $30 puts only 10 days from expiration were purchased against Bear Stearns stock just before it tanked? that naked short selling brought the company to its knees for profit. that all the banks were in the same shape as Bear but Bear was the chosen one.

  • Really good and informative. A suggestion for the improvement could be that you put some power point slides from time to time on the screen. Like when you r telling something, would be good to have a picture as well. Some diagram, scheme etc. Thank you

  • Truly amazing.. Very informative and to-the-point. All of the Informed Trades' tutorials I have watched are extremely incisive and well-organized. I'm glad I have found this excellent source of education before my finance interviews with major institutions.

Dave, with many thanks noted, I was just wondering about your academic backgroud and work experiences? Thanks!

  • Hi Iansrota, Thanks for the compliment and for watching I am glad you enjoy the videos. If you visit InformedTrades there is a link at the top which says "about our community" that contains my complete background information. Best Regards, Dave

  • what the hell ...this is an amazing video ...informative and yet it answered a lot of questions...thanks dude ....but before i part i need to ask you ...what exactley did you learn at college ,,,what are your qualifications ???thank you once again !!!!

  • Hi Hereisthankappan, Thanks for the comment I am glad you like the video. I studied corporate finance in college and after college I worked for a foreign exchange trading firm for 7 years before founding InformedTrades. While those are my qualifications I would say that I know about this stuff not because of the above but because I have been actively following financial news and markets for about 10 years. Best Regards, Dave

  • what kind of job do you get when you get a bachelors in finance and an mba from a good ivy league school....if some one could post a link or provide some useful information and advise it wud be really helpful !!! thank you !!

  • Most of the people I know who graduated from Ivy League business programs either worked for investment banks for a couple of years or joined the management program of a big firm or non profit. Normally one would not go directly into the MBA program but do a couple of years outside first and then come back for the MBA. Once you get the MBA then you move into an associate position at an investment bank or into a large management position at a large firm. Best Regards, Dave

  • hi, David why bear stearns bankrupt? what they did wrong? the government doesn't saved bear stearns?

  • Hi behej777, Thats a pretty long story but the purpose of my vidoes is to answer that question. Watch those and let me know if you still have qustions. Best Regards, Dave

  • Yeah, I've been trying to tell people: Remember that day. That's something that is discussed in Financial / economic circles for decades to come. That 15 minute fall - will be discussed 50 years from now.
