How much space did the condensed 40 minute video take up?

Heres an idea for recording to make it easier on the eyes: make a hardcore char and take him to the server, then kill him and use the ghost as the camera.  You can still join the server with another char by opening another Terraria.

It's Awesome! Just one thing I'd like to say. You guys said, that Alex has a wider screen... So would it be possible to put him somewhere in the middle where he can see all of the things that are being built and fraps it without moving, because it's really distracting to see the camera move at such speeds. Ask someone to start recording in a nice spot and go afk, so it's more like a normal timelaps and it's less confusing. If you didn't quite get what I was trying to understand just ask :)

@PsiSyndicate I think the main reason Lewis doesn't go with a higher rez is for overall quality and easier to see things. That is what he told me any way. He believes that 1280x720 rendered to 720p is the best looking quality with the text still being legible. It also makes the file sizes really nice to work with. I can agree with that because I see it myself with the vids I have been doing. However for a timelapse I think it would be ok if it was larger and the text not as legible

@orbb24 It's also next to impossible to even make these right now, since I only have a 500GB HDD. I have to compress a raw video, which will be 3x the size of this. That takes up about 300GB, luckily this time I recorded at 8 FPS, which helped. Then I shrink it 3x smaller, which is what you see here. I literally wouldn't be able to do it in 1080, unless I bought a new HDD. Since the cost of HDDs is so high right now, I really can't do that.

Well it isn't really an underwater city, now is it? You filled all the water in, and it was submerged, but it is all artificial, now if you did it under the Ocean or something, that'd be awesome.

@undeadPunchmaster There is no way to create a city in the ocean. As you can see at some points, if you put a block over water, the water remains there, even when it is removed. It wasn't like this until 1.1. But it makes it impossible to create real underwater cities, I still thought it was cool.

@PsiSyndicate if you build a huge wall on the side of the map then drain the water into hell then make it destroy the wall after city is built it will be a true underwater city (no offence its still pritty cool)
