Not only can he sing amazingly among things I mentioned in the vid where he sang Hallelujuh so beautifully, he seems to really feel the words he is singing and it goes to show that it isn't always the most gorgeous person on the planet to do something that people respect. Melanie Amaro has a beautiful voice but there's nothing unique about it. Josh, on the other hand, has a very strong, unique and soulful voice and that's why I think he should have won. He certainly has the X factor. Btw, this is in no way a put down of Melanie, she was outstanding and deserved to win.
Also, Josh killed it on this song so much that I think he got Enrique all hot and bothered. You could see the discomfort in Enrique's eyes @ 1:37. It seems like even his panties were getting wet.

Has anyone realized how staged this stuff is, depending on which you tube video you watch Josh is on 2 different sides of the pool and Nicole and Enrique actually change places in their seat at the end of this one..yet Nicole closes her eyes at the same time in each video and enrique bites his lip, it's hilarious! When he will make a CD not 'if' but when he will be making a CD it should be him and his voice as it is on the videos. Simple but so magical. No need for loud instruments and all the synthetic stuff we find today and takes so much space. We would loose so much of all the beautiful intonations and 'vibratos' that he possesses naturally. @whatthehell659 you are only partially right...by the time they aired these performances Xfactor already made there selection of the top 16...and clearly based on the segment they aired for Illusion, they were NOT chosen for the top 16...unfortunate but not necessarily a vendetta...just not one of the groups they liked the best...but I know for a fact that all the judges commentary is scripted & they know before hand, who they are going to put through..but American Idol does it the same way!

With this performance he touches people that have lived and loved, that have heart and soul. Again, I wish his talent, his marvellous talent will be recognized.

Josh is incredible. You will not find any male singers attempting this song. Do a Google search and only female singers come up - it's too difficult for most male singers. He stands out amongst all the contestants - I hope they allow him to be selected for the live performances. If so - he will WIN.

Has anyone realized how staged this stuff is, depending on which you tube video you watch Josh is on 2 different sides of the pool and Nicole and Enrique actually change places in their seat at the end of this one..yet Nicole closes her eyes at the same time in each video and enrique bites his lip, it's hilarious! None the less, scripted and staged or not, Josh has an incredible voice and is already a star!

When he will make a CD not 'if' but when he will be making a CD it should be him and his voice as it is on the videos. Simple but so magical. No need for loud instruments and all the synthetic stuff we find today and takes so much space. We would loose so much of all the beautiful intonations and 'vibratos' that he possesses naturally. I'm French, I just hope my English is good enough to make my message go through. Just Josh's voice, soul, heart and a bit of music in the background!

FINALLY convinced XFACTOR has personal VENDETTA on group ILLUSION CONFUSION,4 previous shows not shown singing more than 2 sec.NEVER SHOWN 1st audition,best of auditions,twice bootcamp,then judges house ALL acts sing undisturbed and they sing 2 sec and it goes to them talking 2 more sec and them talking finished by them talking over rest of their performance,made final 32 in Miami Simon said "you are the best group by far" what do they have against these boys?yes sabotage 100% what XF scared of?

@whatthehell659 you are only partially right...by the time they aired these performances Xfactor already made there selection of the top 16...and clearly based on the segment they aired for Illusion, they were NOT chosen for the top 16...unfortunate but not necessarily a vendetta...just not one of the groups they liked the best...but I know for a fact that all the judges commentary is scripted & they know before hand, who they are going to put through..but American Idol does it the same way!

With this performance he touches people that have lived and loved, that have heart and soul. Again, I wish his talent, his marvellous talent will be recognized.

I have trouble saying this guy's name but no problem believing that this is probably one of the best covers of this song I have ever heard. I got goosebumps and tears came to my eyes! You can tell his heart and passion are right there. He's real and sings with raw emotion, it's very refreshing! Just amazing! Everyone in my family agrees that they could see him winning this thing! I hope Nicole keeps him! Also, can anyone tell me who sings this song originally!? @ShannonDonita Roberta Flack originally sang this song. Check it out on YT. Josh put his own spin on it by going higher/lower in spots than Roberta did. Josh's version is incredible.

Josh is incredible. You will not find any male singers attempting this song. Do a Google search and only female singers come up - it's too difficult for most male singers. He stands out amongst all the contestants - I hope they allow him to be selected for the live performances. If so - he will WIN.
