well I admire the stoke but really why bother ? surf is a mellow 3-4 feet but all that for 45 minutes in the water ? then you got to really move to get warmed up - your wetsuits freeze your nose hair is frozen.

I would rather go ski and then when you can't take it anymore, fly to Mexico and surf naked !

Doesn't often snow that much in Tofino. When was this vid. taken? The only snow we had last winter here in the Southern Gulf Islands was in Dec. 2008 and we got a shit load of it. I hate snow!!

It was the closest thing to a blizzard Tofino has seen. This spot is very sheltered from wind. At the lighthouse a couple km away it was blowing 50 knots this day with heavy snow.
