  • dissrespectful twats 30 people dislike why the hell watch the video in the first place if you didnt like it dont bother watching it!, and for the sad basterds who referenced it to call of duty are dicks its nothing like a game its reallife, if you can't tell the diffrence between a game and something that was 1 of many disaters then your just sad.

  • здохнитье суки американские мой пра пра дедушка там был а вам поxуй вам посматрть лижбо вы уроды жирные подавитесь xот догом суки иностранные люди болеют силно и были под радиацией суки

  • CALL OF DUTY

  • you can make a difference even without shopping or driving green, or even spending a single penny. Force politicians to take a position for or against nuclear power, then vote for those against regardless of any of their other positions on anything else. Then at least within democracies we'll have an end to the nuclear age. They claim we need the energy for economic reasons, but we've only had this energy since the 70s basically. It's not that hard to live with less electricity, we just overuse

  • VLADIMIR? Metro 2033? rofl

  • they made so many maps on cod 4 from chernobyl

  • I think wind mills are A LOT safer than nuclear power plants!!!

  • @worldchampion1986 The sun and ocean along with wind are energy sources that will always supply more than enough energy for every living person on our planet. The problem the powers that be aren't willing to give up their monopoly on the world they really have us over a barrel a barrel of oil.If you want change it comes with a price at the grocery store at the gas pump, forget shopping at walmart i propose a worldwide ban on all the box stores shop local buy organic use alternate fueled car=change

  • HA! IN YOUR FACE SCIENTISTS! radiation DOES create mutations in addition to cancer.

  • @windson7 who the fuck do u think found that out? XD there are things called "test subjects" ya know

  • They need to figure out a way to get rid of the radiation, or ditch nuclear power all together. It's just too unsafe.

  • @Shorty20122012 shorty, dont be retarded its safe only if properly used, youre just scared shitless because of stupid japans radioactive chrisis .nuclear power provides consistant energy and disasters only occur if for example powerplants where built by the sea or if a uneducated person was in charge and finally with out nuclear power we wouldneed to use oil for the next power source and prices would rise 15 dollars a gallon .so next time you deside to leave an ignorant comment do research

  • @TheSovietBears

I doubt nuclear energy contributes to even 25% of the world's power. As science advances to cleaner energy sources, I'm sure we will be able to reduce the amount of nuclear energy we use to a bare minimum.

And about me being scared shitless? Really? *sips milk*

    Btw, nice grammar.

  • @TheSovietBears nuclear plants are SUPPOSED to be bult by the sea cause they need lots of water to cool them and the cheapest and best way is to build them by the sea

    and

no uneducated person is hired into nuclear plants except in chernobyl which was the WORKERS mistake.

So,,,,you should do research first before saying

  • @TheADK1994 umm good job coming out with a random comment you are sadly trying to make me feel stupid by telling me everything that i already know. your making no sence i never said anything to contredict any of that info in the first place go troll somewhere else faggot . btw that person was uneducated other wise he would of known what to do my mothers from kiev im pretty shure i know more then you because you dont know jack shit about chernobyl .and nice job using wiki to troll XD

  • @TheADK1994 and thanks to that now theres radiation in the Pacific

  • 28 assholes are radioactive

  • Scientifically illiterate relying on anecdote aimed at those who haven't read the epidemiological research (which emphatically says there has NOT been an increase in birth deformities etc) and who don't undertand that even if cancer risks have been elevated (which undoubtedly they are slightly) it is quite wrong to say any individual cancer patient is a victim of Chernobyl. All one can do (as the WHO report does) is make statistical models. Shame on you Greenpeace for not being honest or fair.

  • I've visited Chernobyl at least twice for a two day period each time. Going there and being in a dead city, I find peace on Earth. It's very quiet, and you can hear the wind blow in such a freaky manner. It's like the world ended. Still, no one should have to suffer the effects of radiation poisoning or mutation. If it permits, put them out of their misery.

  • everyone blames nuclear for the accident, but never the people who ran the place.

  • 1:23 la budu shit

  • ...but the electricitie was atleast cheap.....

  • The areas around Chernobyl need to become exclusion zones, nuclear energy can be dangerous but if you take all the precautions and don't experiment needlessly you will be fine

  • Nuclear energy is clearly more danger than it's worth.

  • I Hate Greenpeace, Stop using it as a flag to promote your shitty gay group of hippies!!

  • @cpsuperbrain i can't agree more.

  • wasn't there a war in chernobyl?

  • @M40IIReFLex

    no

  • You stubborn assholes are going to use this as an excuse to ban Nuclear energy for the next hundred years.Greenpeace has been known for one thing only, getting in the way.You guys use children in your videos as bait for people to ''join in your master plan'' for a ''green''planet.Guess what,it's too late we fucked it up years and years ago.Cant do anything about it.And you guys haven't even dropped something that happned over 20 years ago?You guys just need to shut the fuck up about this.

  • Kern energie is not chiep or save. Its dangerus. be awaer for this massa murderer.

  • why would they build that cursed power plant?

  • "For the five million people living in affected regions who are designated as Chernobyl 'victims' radiation has had no discernable impact on physical health. Myths and misconceptions have taken root. There is NO EVIDENCE OF INCREASES IN THE NUMBERS OF CONGENITAL MALFORMATIONS. Fear or radiation, rather than radiation itself, poses a far more potent health threat. UN Forum Report

  • Chemobyl Needs ti be CLEANED up

  • @woody4555 It was cleaned up! It will take 100-1000 years for the radiation to go away! It will take a really long time!

  • whats up with pro nuclear shit! you guys are weird! the best thing to come out of nuclear technology is Solar thermal which powers a third of spain! the waste that comes out of that is water thats safe enough to drink! Even nuclear techs are saying its the way forward considering it delivers baseload energy even on cloudy days!

  • @davel33123 That's right! I always say: Solar power and Nuclear energy are the future!

  • @davel33123 France has successfully developed their nuclear program to power 85% of its power needs. Its environmental footprint is far lower than the hundreds of acres of solar panels/wind farms it would take to produce the same amount of power. It produces LESS manageable waste than any other form of power production.

The nuclear industry as a whole learned a lot from the unfortunate accident at Chernobyl and strives to maintain an ACCIDENT FREE industry since 1986 WORLDWIDE.

  • i love the name chernobyl and pripyat they just sound cool when you say them

  • A thousand hells await the man who discovered nuclear power...

  • Does anyone have the feeling that the Chernobyl incident was a big social experiment perpetrated by the government or other secret society?

  • aawh poor baby! :(

  • whoa, the corners or that last girl's mouth were blue

  • Greenpeace, come out of your little green box. Nobody with an understanding of what the actual problems and causes of world issuses are (unfortunately not much of the world population do, in this case most/all greenpeace members who support their "campaigns"), would make a video depicting a victim of a big disaster like this. Yes Chernoble was a terrible disaster that affected people in strange and disturbing ways, but just because it happened then doesn't mean "nuclear power will kill us all".

  • This is just an attempt to scare people into thinking Nuclear Energy is dangerous, Chynobyl only went into meltdown because the technicians wanted to get more power out of the reactor, they turned off all the safty features. Not the powerstations fault, this was also done before there were systems anywhere as newar as good as they are today. In fact if the likes of Greenpeace and other anti-nuclear leauges are the reason for the upcomming energy crisis for swaying oppinios by scaring people.

  • Why dont people move away?

  • @Snauzer67 LOL the radiation got to italy in about a week

  • omg.this video should be a warning for the authorities!

  • Now USA pisk up your oil, for Lying about Gary, and Russia,USA lies = Chernobyl and your Oil, in your Gulf of Mexico, stop trying to pit it on BP, Lying USA, git your ass out they and pick up your lies, that is your Cross,!!!

  • stalker stalker it not fun eminemmaniac619 the game stalker it a but this accident

  • Tear that kid a new asshole

  • Did anyone else laugh when he said "born without an anus"? lol

  • Manipulator !!!!!! Lets go hisi in the duty base !!!

  • Poor baby, children don't deserve to suffer like this

  • @belgarde1986 It's genuinely heart breaking..

  • @belgarde1986 chernobyl does

  • STALKER

  • cod4

  • @eminemmaniac619 this is not a fucking game it happened for real so stop talking about some fucking games

  • @eminemmaniac619 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. RULEZ!

  • y does gp get into other peoples buisness

  • @GILERArunnerFXR180 You can get to it in MW2 Aswell :)

  • Hey, this place is in cod4 right?

  • yep

  • this is biased propaganda bullshit meant to trigger the emotions of weak minded individuals. Note the generalizations and lack of supporting evidence

  • you got that right freind down with their greenpeace shite, fuck them their ideals, and their anti nuclear message, FUSION IS THE FUTURE FREINDS!

  • @carrotop1325 That's greenpeace for you. Generalizing the world one at a time. This is almost as bad as that Heath row protest. People don't seem to understand that nuclear energy is the cleanest form of energy available second to hydro electric. Renewables are not actually that green and end up costing Waaay more. Greenpeace seems to not Get that. Their objectives are unrealistic and thus WILL NOT WORK. Support nuclear energy as it cuts down on emissions worldwide.

  • damn. without words .... from Brazil

  • this is on call of duty 4

  • 0:18

    w8, wat?

  • You make such videos and showing kids. : )) make video about how children look after car accident, or home site electrical accident, or stabbed with knife, burnt with hot water. So we can stop driving car, using electricity, using knife to cut bread etc. and you expect people to give up from nuclear power plants. It is still safest and cleanest solution which will satisfy human electricity demand.

  • Well, yes. But nuclear reactor fuck ups arent quite as common as the accidents you mentined. Therefor it is only natural peopel would want to make videos of it. I agree about the reactors being efficient though

  • Okay, if it is so clean than it's no problem for you to store the waste in your cellar.

China and India built dozens of new nuclear power stations so that uranium becomes scarce even faster.

Atomic power has killed thousands of people. A windmill will never cause a catastrophe like this. Don't think short-term any longer and be ready to pay more for the luxus of having energy. Atomic energy is only "cheap" because we it consumes nature. If you add this value the kwh is the most expensive energy

  • @LeMonsieurPlankton "Atomic power has killed thousands of people. " IF you are talking about nuclear power plants then you really need to recheck your citations. There is a BIG marginal difference between weapons grade plutonium and that in which is used for nuclear power industry.

"Atomic energy is only "cheap" because we it consumes nature."

So it is cheap becaues "We it" ????? That's not even a statement!

  • @EpiDemic117 : I haven't quoted anyone. This is general knowledge that I consider as being true. Several accidents of nuclear power stations killed people. Cernobyl is not the only one. Some others haven't ever been mentioned.

You don't seem to have good arguments otherwise you wouldn't use typos against me. Could do the same: What about "becaues" ? That's poor!

You know that I meant "We consume nature" ...Renewable Energie is more expensive because it includes the cost of protecting nature

  • @LeMonsieurPlankton "Several accidents of nuclear power stations killed people." No only one of them carried major casualties. Most of the others that MIGHT of had casualties were in the early days and were experimental prototypes. No casualties were reported from three mile island nor were there fatalities from people that MIGHT have been exposed.

  • @EpiDemic117 "Major casualties" , interesting how you think about the value of a single human life. In the former Soviet Union happened more than one major accident, not only Cernobyl let disappear villages. With "thousands of people" I also mean the ones that die slowly because of all the small accidents e.g. in Sweden, Germany and many other countries.

AND: Never trust governmental reports too much. It's been more than once that they tried and managed to deceive the people.

  • @LeMonsieurPlankton "interesting how you think about the value of a single human life" Interesting how you AND Greenpeace don't think any different. Those idiots convinced piss poor and starving African countries to reject GE crops which have already saved and estimated 4 BILLION people from starvation.

  • @Mypagedamit I am not a Greenpeace follower and you are posting off-topic but I nevertheless answer: The poor and starving African countries continue to be poor if the stay dependet from development aid and GE crops are indeed something that threatens life (which includes humans)

  • @LeMonsieurPlankton "Chernobyl is not the only one" As far as what i've seen in an actual commercial (or government run as what most soviets where) reactor. Yes it is. The reasons for the Chernobyl disaster were because of human error overriding to many procedures and it's faulty engineering that was put. The reactor for Christ sake didn't even have a containment center or concrete dome. Every other reactor in Europe and in the West HAS ONE. And as for spent fuel France recycles 95% of theirs.

  • @EpiDemic117 Todays nuclear power plants might be technically safer but still human error plays a role, even in the western world.

Additional danger: There hasn't been found a final solution for the storage problem for tenth of years now. Why can people be so optimistic that we solve that problem on time or at all? Must be the money. NOTHING justifies using nuclear power any longer, not even the financial aspect.

  • @LeMonsieurPlankton "NOTHING justifies using nuclear power any longer, not even the financial aspect. " Hah! don't make me laugh! EVERYTHING even those idiots going on about global warming increases the demand for alternates. Nuclear energy is a realistic alternate. The worlds biggest windmill "Enercon E-126) Only produces 7 megawatts per turbine. THAT ISN'T ENOUGH! a nuclear power plant easily output 400 to 600 MEGAWATS 24/7!! That rapes solar and wind. And it's always on.

  • @Mypagedamit But the nuclear power plant is more expensive in construction, needs resource imput (btw: the source become more and more insecure), nuclear waste storage gulps billions and ADDITIONALLY there's still the big danger of accidents with the potential to kill not only thousands of people but all life round the plant.

24/7 is possible with renewables! In Germany scientists have developed the hybrid power plant, the combi power plant, the smart grid and they keep on using their brains

  • omg poor bby

  • it has nothing to do with the style of government its the irresponsible way we produce our energy, as a human race, not as one country or another country, we all share this planet and we all share responsibility for this child's current state

  • @drummaster66

these were communists that had this explosion.Communists dont care about human lfe, look at china and n korea.

  • Yes and Nuclear kills far less than Fossil fuels in fact it is one of the safest forms of Clean Energy that we can produce on large scale. Nuclear Power a safer solution.

  • The only problem is that if something goes wrong.

  • i wouldnt say its the safest, but it is the most efficent

  • Yeah, and you just dont know what you're saying, because you learned from TV but never lived in USSR...

  • I know about stalins gulags.Thats enough.

  • If there were no Stalin you wouldnt live today...

  • I may not, but tousands of russian descendents would have.

  • You dont get it...nobody would live, bacause of nazists...

  • @fanslayer2

You mean if there was no Stalin more people would live today. Or else you will hear "Rastrilat!" again.

  • No, you are an idiot. Stalin won the WW2 while other countries were jerking off and wanted USSR to be destroyed. After the WW2, while USSR was weak, the cold war started. And again thanks Stalin because exactly he won all the wars. THANKS STALIN! BECAUSE OF YOU WE ARE ALIVE NOW! IF THERE WAS NO STALIN OTHER COUNTRIES WOULD ALREADY DESTROYED RUSSIA!

  • @fanslayer2

Stalin won the world war two? Did you know he had a case fire with the Nazis and spilled Polin into two peaces with the Nazis?

Stalin killed people, Hitler was worse but Stalin was also a bad person. Stalin is the same bitch like Hitler.

Stalin killed his commanders too, which made his army weak and that action made allot soldiers to die.

No, because every guy like Cherilyn could stop the war.

  • @1Stalker1 I think stallin was worse death count wise. Hitler got all the fame cause of the jewish genocide (which was hyped by the media) No one seems to mention the Chechen genocide that's still been going on to this day. It's a really dirty corrupt war by russia.

  • nuclear power is porbably the most eco freindly form there is. what happened in chernobly was worker error

  • exactly

  • that is just fucked up, to be born without an anus. Another product of everybodies favorite:communism! But I hope that little girl can have something done to fix her problems and can one day live at least a halfway normal life. RIP Chernobyl victims to this date and to come.

  • Comment removed

  • think about having diarrhoea and no anus! what a hell!

  • I hate to see kids suffer, it really p*sses me off.

  • was she born without anus?

  • good movie, but the majority of people who watch it are loud mouthed fucktards like yourself.

put your tinfoil hat back on, the man is trying to read your thoughts.

  • Very eloquent, very funny. Why don't you try to grow up and stop insulting everyone you encounter on the internet and instead try to educate yourself by reading up on the issues the Zeitgeist Movement website and the movies deal with instead of just mindlessly parroting whatever has been funneled into your brain when you were young and vulnerable. I'd provide you with links if I was allowed to post any...

  • I say good movie because i am a supporter of the zeitgeist "movement".

    NOW PLEASE BE QUIET

  • remember that this is the work of communism, by holding on information from the workers which lead to the explosion

    (science - information censure) + low-paid workers = fail

  • Communist Russia didn't output nearly as many Greenhouse gasses as the capitalist countries do.

  • of course they didn't, killing and "enslaving" humans will reduce the amount of green house gases, like H2O.

  • Dinitrogen monoxide?

    :/

yes you are right. HTere were limits to how much shit one could consume

  • don't tell me you didn't know that Dihydrogen monoxide is a greenhouse gas? =/

  • dihydrogen monoxide = H20

Water is not a greenhouse gas.

    lolzerz.

And ive heard of diNITROGEN monoxide, but i dont know much about it.

  • prove me wrong, that water in gas form (i.e. clouds) _not_ is a greenhouse gas.

  • lawl. You were talking about H20 all along.. sorry. my response was made at 3 am

Prove to me that it is! I dont know anything

  • Nuclear power would be the end of us all. you think a corporation would tell the public about a radioactive leak in a timely manner? previous cases would show otherwise. can we really trust greed? corporations are in search of one thing, profits, regardless of the externalities. Some didn't even tell consumers until 1 year later that they had been shipping peanut butter crackers and foods out to the public knowing it was contaminated w/ samanilla. Its sad Obama was NO change at all.

  • Radiation is not the issue here. It was the effect of ignorance and a lack of a questioning attitude, caused by a communist regime. Nuclear power is the answer.

  • I think that we all should follow greenpeace, couse they are the earth only hope. basecly ( i´ve never said basecly be4.. it was cool. try it) seriously save earth-.

  • Did they ever remove the Soviet flag?

  • yep, the creators of COD4 got this matched perfectly, sad though, human error is a recipe for disaster, as shown by the chernobyl incident

  • The founder of green peace is now in favor of Nuclear power.

  • if thats true that excellent, finally sense is seen

  • is the radiation ever going to go or is it gonna be there forever????

  • It is decreasing, the problem is that the time for it to lessen with half is (the measured, not the theoretic) at a rate of 23 years (CNRS 1997). Thus, it is actually faster than anticipated, but still very slow - Radioactivity measured in Becquerel (Bq) should be around 1 000 at most. The levels in 2007 were around 50 000 in Chernobyl area. This means it will be suitable for living in.... 110 years from now!

  • What I read, that inside the sarcophagus there is so much radiaction, that it will take 1 milligram 27000 years to go away. They is so much radiaction inside that that it can poison over 100,000,000.

  • Like somebody says, the radiation will disappear in about 600 years....

  • Yes 1000 years

  • Fuck mother !

  • if the town is still too radioactive why/how are they filming there?

  • helicopter + camera + joystick = safe filming

  • an r/c helicopter? yeah that makes sense. But what about all the animals that live in pripyat?

  • Short term exposure is not as dangerous (but it still involves risks) and adults have better resistance than young people.

Why? Because it is Greenpeace, they do bring their cameras into the most inhabitable places for us to have a chance to form an opinion.

Nuclear power may have become "safer", the problem is that when one breaks down, that place is gone from the map for centuries. I would not call that safe.

  • why they arn't going in Area 51 where alot of Nuclear Bombs was exploded??? Or why do not go in Pacific Islands where again USA and France tested Nuclear Weapons??? Evry body say cernobil was bad... I know it was but change the subiect it is old why we arn't go in USA there is real Radioactive danger in nevada desert!

  • It is two different issues, but the one you point at is one of the most troubling and is of course being in focus all the time.

What is interesting and important about Chernobyl is that it is a civil area where and accident took place and what consequence it have had for such a long time. Not a deliberate military operation in a secluded area.

When Chernobyl got damaged I was living in the area in Sweden that got some of the radioactive rain. The area is still today not very useful.

  • Yes your right! I am living in roumania just 700km to cernobil but the problem here was the same! But i do not know why the radiation have gone!

  • Actually, no one knows, it seems certain biotopics are better in absorbing and neutralizing the radioactivity, plus, the type of contamination is different in different places. In Hungary and Romania it was less Caesium than we got in Sweden. The scientist are working on it, one reason we are so interested in the aftermath of Chernobyl.

  • yes but ware the usa tested nukes it was very very far away from any towns or citys to far to effect any human life navada is already a lifeless deasert Chernobyl power station was less than a mile from the city of Chernobyl a city that was populated by many peaple this is a typical example of ex soviet governmants incompatance

  • Comparing civil power station accidents with deliberate nuclear weapons test is a but off track. The latter is made to create problems the former meant to be harmless.

Of course, when an accident happens, it is not harmless. And we still have to figure out what to do with the waste...

  • Блин тут кто-нибудь есть из России ???

  • Most people don't even know that one of the founders of Greenpeace nowadays sais that it was a hughe mistake to dissociate from nuclear power. It is true, statistics show that there are more cases of birth deformities... which seems to be due to better statistical records. Because at the time before that accident, noone was interested in making such records, especially in that state. Now that energy becomes more and more expensive, people finally start to understand that we need atomic energy...

  • Denmark could be driven completly by windmills in 20 years from now.

  • is that what greenpeace wants to? filling the whole country side with those ugly windmills? Is that what they call environmentalism? I hope not...

  • whats the matter?

  • "those ugly windmills" well i don't think "those beautiful radioactive plants" are better

  • That's primitive mindset -.-

You are right, superficially. Is there any modern factory that looks "beautiful"? BUT in contrast to those windmills, a nuclear plant is way more effective in subject to it's size. Got the point?

  • No. I dont get the point.

And btw: Those "ugly windmills". Yeah they aren't pretty. But who see them when they stand 2 kilometers from the caost in teh ocean?

  • Turn your brain on. I meant, both of them, power plants in general and windmills, aren't pretty. But, to gain the same power than with a power plant, you need to build THOUSANDS of them. That means that you need much more place...

At the moment, there is no chance to abdicate nuclear power. The power consumption is way too high. No matter if you build them in the ocean...

  • What about you think on what happen with the nuclear waste? Yeah lets dig a hole and burry it until some terrorists steal it and spread it across the world

  • Hey holynapstercool,

In fact, nuclear waste is a huge problem and an important argument against nuclear power. And as you might recognize, I didn't say that nuclear power is the 'perfect' solution. But, I am of the opinion that nuclear waste is somehow controllable... more than for example CO², which is just blown into the air.

  • the only problem about radioactive plants is represented by it's impact in case of malfunction. and , as we saw at chernobyl this can be due to humans. what i want to point out is that, even though accidents are very rare, one accident alone is capable of having catastrophic results on earth. this is the risk we take. do we really want to take it? i don't know exactly , other ways might be with the help of nature : wind, water, waves.. . but it must all come from within us

  • Chernobyl was strictly a Russian issue directly related to its Graphite design. Nuclear power is the "green" power. There is nothing more natural and pure than the atom.

  • No atoms react on the earth in nature like in a nuclear reactor.

  • 20 years after chernobyl and there is more wildlife (all with normal lifespans and no deformities) than before the accident. This is from a UN or IAEA report th;at came out a few years back.

  • May i see the source please? Because according my my sources animalt in the area have wounds like they been burned

  • jesus christ greenpeace, go ahead and make people live their lives in fear

  • Lasst Euch nicht verdummen!

  • Yes and it was an old RBMK positive type reactor, the newer ones if you ndrain then water ;from themm, they shut down, but the old ones, will overheat adn explode if you drain the water from them

  • magmaman: You were born without a brain and no one makes fun of you. No one makes fun of you enough, I mean.

  • se ci sono degli idioti che vivono accanto alla centrale, ovvio che succedono ste cose. Ma andate a farvi fottere imbecilli.

  • God radiation must be the worst ERROR humans did
